  dj b:product: Create sure you guys are updating the firmware. Also just use the apk to connect. Press sync on eon. It could present up. Add it to the network. Then modernize firmware and power cycle the eon. Works ok if you know what you are doing...

  Adaita Behera: As the description says in the what's fresh in this ver, each and every bullet point is damn real. Note: As mentioned in the description, perform a factory restart of the speaker. To restore the factory settings, press and keep the "EQ +" and "Boot" buttons on the rear panel of the speaker and turn on the speaker. Press and keep until all the LEDs are on and then leave. After the speaker starts press Sync button to wake up Bluetooth in the speaker.

  A Google user: Love the speakers, love the apk! I've been reading all of the negative reviews & all I have to say is "DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!!!" What the Hell is wrong with you Cry Babies? I read one stupid review complaining that the Bluetooth doesn't stream melody. No shite you DUMBASS! Freaking download the manual & read up on the item before you buy it. What a package of IDIOTS!

  jon deese: I bought a fresh JBL EON612 speaker and the salesman showed me this apk. He showed me how it worked on his smartphone, and told me it wouldn't stream melody, only control the speaker, and he was correct. The apk does everything it says it will, as far as I have seen. Customer service is imperative, that's why I only deal with Jeff at CLS I'm Durham NC. They're the best in this industry. The only con I have is no type of owners/users manual included. Would be nice to know all the specifics. Another than that, I give it 2 👍up!

  A Google user: Awesome apk for setting/tweaking EQ and volume, remotely. I had no problems connecting. I even tried to connect from over 30 ft away and up a half level of my house, and it connected. I have an old Samsung S4. It also updated the firmware on my speaker, the eon612

  Philip Johnson: So only after doing a factory restart was I able to connect. So while powering up the amp, keep the eq and boot buttons in until you see the LED's flashing. Awesome luck

  Chris Hurshman: So a couple of my guys went to install these on a job today, neither had this apk since it's only android device, and we had turned down the master via Bluetooth while experimenting. Come to search out, there is no method to bring that master back up without connecting once once more. So maybe there could be some sort of process to bypass any apk settings that may have been previously saved. Just thought I'd allow you all know for future updates. Please and thank you. :)

  SUREMAN FPV: Ok,This is me editing 4 yrs later apk is fine, but id like to create it clear its still frustrating to connect this apk bluetooth to my 612s! Its not normal or intuative like any another bt device connection is. OK, sure, connects after jumping a few hoops.and I still dont like it because of that! Its a wierd method of pairing anything bt! Jbl and/or this apk shouldve created a better/more seemless player friendly route to pair via bt! I find videos/info out 2 even remember how to connect these everytime!

  Jon-Paul LeClair: Wouldn't it be easier for JBL/Harman to just make a single, one-size-fits-all networked speaker control apk that handles whatever speaker series is connected? What's the point of using Bluetooth? I have a PRX800 system, but went with EON's for my monitors; it'd be far easier to control everything in one apk. So now not only do I have to run the PRX control apk, I need to enable bluetooth to connect to my EON's to control them; duh, I could have bought all PRX but I'm not created of gold. It's OK I suppose for the single/duo artists but for running a band or such, it's not super convenient.

  A Google user: This apk has much potential, most of which is not realized. The awesome: A) 4 hard coded EQ presets selectable st back of EON spkr. B) you can control up to 4 separate troops. C) The apk allows custom EQs per device. The awful: 1) spkr power off breaks blue tooth link. Requires button push on back of unit after pwr on. 2) only master volume is apk controlled. Input channels and switching line / mic levels is manual. 3) This is awful for permanent install, OK for temp/traveling. 4) pairing diffcult
