Tone generator. * Customizable band frequencies. * Customizable target response curve. * Save / load profiles. Equalizer Buddy is a 20-band equalizer designed for earphones with multiple drivers. It offers two ways to calibrate your earphones - by frequency response curve and by tone generator. Calibration with ease: By FR Curve - You calibrate the earphones with a single photo of your earphones' Frequency Response curve (raw or compensated). The process takes only a few steps and the interface is user-friendly. You can even customize your own Target Response curve if standard human target does not satisfy your need. By Tone Generator - You listen to tones of various sound frequencies and balance their volume to make a "flat" response. Designed for multiple driver earphones: In Equalizer Buddy, band frequencies are customizable such that equalizer bands can be assigned to where they are required the most. In Equalizer Buddy's Multi-driver-earphone Frequency mode, more bands are assigned to upper midrange and treble (i.e. frequency > 2kHz), where uneven frequency response peaks and valleys often occur in earphones with multiple drivers. Say no to sibilance: Unlike standard equalizers, Equalizer Buddy's treble band frequencies can be chosen in a method such that frequency above 10kHz can be raised to make an airy feeling while sibilance / piercing sound at around 8kHz to 10kHz can be suppressed at the same time. What melody users does Equalizer Buddy support? Equalizer Buddy only supports melody users which "begin audio sessions in android device system" like Google Play Melody, Musicolet, etc. If you can't see your melody user being detected, please test removing the user apk from latest history first. (Press the phone's square button once and then swipe.)

John Saheim: This equalizer works awesome but it helps to use A stylus when setting the sliders. There was also a comment here concerning deleting the users history well I am using Spotify and all you have to do is pause a few seconds then it switches. Create sure you change the multi drivers or standard tab also was my original mistake as it starts by default in multi.

Ezra Brownstein: This apk is truly phenomenal. The EQ is customizable and transparent. The large difference here is that there are more bands in the high end where there can be a lot of peaks and dips, so you can receive rid of those more easily than with your average 10 band graphic eq.

Adam: This is the first apk I found to let individual frequency control across the 20 bands. I can adjust bass settings exactly how I wish. This is the best option for anyone who wants better control over your audio qualities.

anon amus: Most strong Android device equalizer out there that doesn't require rooting (i.e another than Viper4android) BUT for some inexplicable reason adjusting frequencies under 1khz causes the audio to distort (especially the bass frequencies) regardless of the PreAmp set and disabling the Bass Boost. No another equalizer I've tried had this trouble, if it was fixed this may be the best root gratis equalizer out there. Note that this EQ doesn't work on all phones my Razer Smartphone 2 works but not my Moto G, so YMMV.

Started Soma FM radio user, alternatively Onkyo HF User (which has really the BEST equalizer I've seen on Android device) - the EQ apk didn't pick up on it. All another (stupid) EQ apks, however, DID pick up on them. -> Awful apk.
