  Cliff Ferguson: Hot on the heels of my 5 star rating for ES File Explorer, the ES Chromecast plugin has stopped working. As soon as a film is chosen and ES Chromecast User is chosen from the dropdown, the screen goes black. Modernize: The trouble appears to be with the recent versions of ES File Explorer, not ES Chromecast. If you have this trouble just Google "ES File Explorer" earlier versions and download the ver 4.0.4.7 APK file to the SD card on your android device. Uninstall any existing ver of ES File Explorer late than this on your smartphone. Use any another file explorer to navigate to the SD card on your smartphone and click the APK file and allow it install. All will be well.

  Rebecca McCurdy: Just what I was looking for When I bought my lenovo yoga es file manager came pre-installed and after a few uses I installed it on my smartphone. I've been having so a lot of problems with casting tools for Chromecast over the latest two months so when I saw there was a plug-in for ES I was over the moon. It works like a dream and I couldn't be happier that my favourite apk is even more versatile.

  Swaglife 81: Reviewers need to educate themselves Google Chromecast only supports mp4 files. Its not es file fault google hasnt added more depth with video and the ability to play avi and mkv. Es file explorer has done what no another company really has and thats a awesome chromecast plugin. Also with fresh songs, etc through es. You have to click the more icon to go to chromeast. Its like somebody expects es file explorer to read your mind and decide what to do with a file. It amazes me how tiny effort and research reviewers place into anything. Good apk
