About the application:

EventCheck is making happenings safer and more convenient. The EventCheck system is designed for staff, performers, athletes, coaches, media and others involved in the production of live concerts, sports, and conventions. When used with CDC- suggested practices, EventCheck can assist protect happening workers from the spread of infectious illness. The system provides: -Contactless registration -Contactless safety checks -Social distancing alarm -SmartID distance records* EventCheck does not provide services to the general public. The EventCheck apk only works in conjunction with a SmartID lanyard. The apk can not provide any services unless you are at a registered EventCheck event. How It Works When you attend an EventCheck happening, you will keep a Bluetooth-enabled lanyard called a SmartID. The SmartID works like a wireless credential. It transmits anonymous info about the your credential kind and work group. The SmartID does not transmit private info, GPS coordinates, or health-related information. You use the EventCheck apk and your SmartID to check in. This temporarily links the SmartID to your acc in EventCheck’s safe database. Check-In also activates your happening Credential, which displays in the apk and provides safety gate access. During the happening, the EventCheck apk scans for nearby SmartIDs. SmartIDs in your work group are ignored. If SmartIDs from another work groups are detected within a 6ft radius, a Social Distancing alarm sounds** and the MAC addresses of both SmartIDs are sent to EventCheck's safe database. At the end of the happening, the Check In automatically ends, and the SmartID is no longer associated with the attendee’s account. *Social distance records are based on the MAC address of the SmartID. These records are only available to EventCheck staff and the happening organizer. These records may be used by the happening organizer to inform you of a potential exposure, but your name will not be shared with your permission. **Distancing alarms may be disabled at the request of the happening organizer.
