Where there is a question or concern, Customer service is perfect. An necessary program to use if you need to hold accurate try results on file for future reference.   capone 3413: I won this exact idip smart digital water tester at reefapalooza this year the try are right on par with my salifert and hanna checkers what makes this so much easier is u can do all your try on one meter alkalinity calcium magnesium nitrates ammonia beautiful much any try u wish to perform all on one meter instead of mixing powders and drops test to figure out all the color changes it just tells u what it is and saves alot of time coustermer service is perfect

  Ryan Otto: LOVE this - readings are good and accurate. at first there was a bit of a learning curve. after 3 tests i had it down. once you READ the instructions for the tests, you will do just ok and memorize what to do after 3 or 4 times. but once more, you have to READ. no one READS the instructions anymore. additional tests aren't awful at 4.99 once. you shouldn't need a whole lot. try strips aren't awful either when you compare all of the reagents and tests you go through on the another try kits. plus you receive the accuracy...no more guessing what color! once you set up you as a customer and your tank as a website you can save your entire history. but once more, this requires reading the instructions. please read before you post a negative review and turn another hobbyists off of a GREAT product.

  Jeremy Keen: I have been using this apk and photometer for a couple of years. It has occassional problems connexting to the photometer but I do not necessarily blame the apk developer for Bluetooth problems. However, I just installed the apk on a fresh Android device smartphone and there is nothing listed in the shop rendering the apk and photometer useless. Edit: refreshing the configuration files under settings corrected the shop problem and now the tests are listed. Good speedy response on a Saturday!

  A Google user: Where to begin ? Well, the actual tester is awesome and is well built but sadly, for me, it ends there. The iDip apk is badly ported from iOS. There have been a few updates to iron out the bugs but it does have a long method to go before it becomes 100% stable. The method in which the iDip creates customer profiles is nothing short of backwards. Having to actually create a contact within my contacts on my smartphone or smartphone and then save the data to that contact is a awful design and requires a complete re-write. What could happen is that the apk creates it's own .txt file for example and the contact is stored there locally. Or even better, on The Cloud storage. Creating a fresh contact could go something like this. Example: Make Fresh Contact / Add contact info / Add tests needed for contact / Edit contact info within the contact if info or tests change in the future. Home screen: Load contact. Choose try for contact. The the try is saved to that contacts file. Until something like this has been implemented, I can only give the iDip two stars and that's only because the actual hardware it's self is awesome. The tool is the largest allow down for me.

  Adam Hulewicz: Crash, Crash, Crash I need to use this for work but am unable to allow others as the work around list is heavy. It's the worst apk I have on my smartphone. Main problems. - Must have signal H or faster - Must turn WiFi off - Must not press buttons to quick during stages.

  Tom Crookston: Worked good for a bit, with bugs and quirks. Now the apk keeps crashing when trying to pair so I can't try our brewing water at all! Save the problem if your a professional, buy a true spectrophotometer. Modernize: Figured I'd test it again...bad decision...I guess I'm a glutton for pain and frustration.

  Andrew Maskell: This is clearly a terribly done port from iOS as the apk navigation doesn't follow Android device standards. Excellent example of this is when pressing the back navigation button it quits out of the apk completely causing a heavy headache of a job to go back and redo everything. The Bluetooth functionality could also be 'always connected' instead of having to reconnect each time a try is required. Looking forward to future updates to bring this apk up to an acceptable standard for releasing to my clients.

Clearly a very awful conversion from IOS to Android device and significant functionality has been lost. Multi websites all have all results as history which is pointless. Apk does not close down and struggles to connect. Really awful apk. Only useful on Apple kit!

  Richard Gibson: Poorly created apk. Regular problems connecting with the iDip using Bluetooth. Fails to give results 30% of the time and consumable try strips are too expensive. Microtransactions needed to unblock another tests that the device is already capable of when shipped and the cost of buying additional try strips when you run out create this product far more expensive than it appears. Do yourself a favour and buy something better. Like a proper spectrophotometer.

  Melissa StAmant: The company specifically holds you to using this apk to use the tests through Bluetooth and record results. You have to spend a awesome amount of cash for the equipment...and then use this apk that completely handicaps you. Doesn't connect. Crashes. Requires you to pay for the tests you need through the apk. But the company itself (Industrial Tech) takes no culpability it management of it's apk. When you call customer service, they repeatedly slash you off and say they have nothing to do with the apk. It's crazy that the apk is needed for Bluetooth testing...and it's just sitting here unmaanaged.
