This application approximates the length of exposure for different B&W movies (and some color movies) in low light situations. In low light, additional exposure is required due to reciprocity failure (also known as the Schwarzschild result). As such, your camera's meter is not accurate in low light. This application approximates the proper exposure time (based upon manufacturers datasheets). A timer is now included in the application. The application warns when the player enters an exposure longer than described in manufacturer's datasheets. Although the exposure in these instances is crudely approximated by mathematical extrapolation, it is crucial that players conduct their own exposure tests in these very long exposure situations. Dagan Sassarini: I found this apk to be inaccurate when shooting Ilford movies (Delta 100, Delta 3200, HP5, Pan F Plus). There is no option to select whether or not you wish to adjust for just exposure time or stops, you must adjust both. So awesome luck basing your exposure on a particular aperture. The compensations merely follow the graphs provided by the movie producer and do not seem to be inspected or accurate to my standard. Movie selection is few. Research and testing are better ways for dealing with reciprocity.
