  Stacy Cappleman: Really good DVD and video user! I just purchased EDOTGP. I must say, I was skeptical at first. I didn't know whether or not it would work on my nextbook smartphone, but after connecting my external dvd user via OTG cable and firing up the apk I'm sold! It even plays another video formats besides DVD's. Very cool ;)

I must say i was very satisfied as it worked just as described and the quality was good! Also the apk is really player friendly and has very detailed instructions on how to use it.   Aemon Mauddib: Needs Improvement I purchased this apk to use on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T350) which is running android device 6.0. I connected and succesfully mounted my samsung se-218 external usb dvd drive via usb otg. I followed the instructions within the apk for playing my dvd but much to my disapointment the drive would not present up on the in apk file manager as it was suposed to. I can browse the folders on the dvd using a various file manager so i feel like it could also present up in the apk and let me to play the .vob files but it does not. So I did some experimentation... i place some video files of all various file types on both my external sd card and on the internal memory of my smartphone they play ok in VLC. I then tried to play one of those files with edotgp and was unable to that . The only folder that shows up in the in apk file manager is the DCIM folder where videos taken on my tablets camera are stored. So i tried to begin one of the video files through a various file manager and choose otggp when asked which apk to begin it with but i should not do this either. It seems my tab does not think this apk is a media user... i feel like this should be fixed with an update...oh well untill then

  John Edwards: Does not work with RCA Viking Pro 10 inch smartphone After following the instructions and plugging the USB cable into the USB port on the smartphone the apk will display a notice that says damaged USB storage. The DVD user is a LG without a power supply so the USB port on smartphone had to be used for power. Please modernize the apk to work with more tablets. Am I missing something?

  Greg Thues: No help smartphone doesn't recognize as a media user After spending quite a bit of time trying to receive my Nvidia Shield smartphone to play DVDs I saw this apk and decided to test it as every another one did not like the file formats. So I bought it and tried to receive it to work. With the latest android device modernize my smartphone recognizes my external drive but is very finicky with whether or not it will read the DVD. However and this is where this apk was to come into play, when the smartphone does like the DVD most another apks will not play the videos. Unfortunately this apk is even worse as the operating system does not recognize it as a media user. I will say it can and does play any video that has been downloaded into the tablets memory but that's it. So at this point I was rather unhappy and contacted the provided email to either keep assist which if they should assist I would have been satisfied to use the apk or to keep a refund that they mention. I have yet to hear back from them. So I found other apk that does play my DVDs very well and was gratis. So to be clear this paid apk with adds may or may not be any awesome I do not know yet, but the customer service is lacking. If I hear back and keep either assist or a refund I will modernize my rating.

  Paulie Flomar: Doesnt work Nvidia Shield smartphone. Samsung SE-S084D/TSBS external drive. Smartphone does not recognize DVD drive. Apparently thinks drive is a badly formatted USB stick. Oh well.

  Andrew Singleton: Won't play VOB files. Loads the disk, as described, but won't play the VOB files. As the OS loads the disk as USB anyway it isn't any better than another users that can access any mounted folder. Most another users are gratis or pay-to-remove-ads whereas this is a paid-for apk WITH advertisements. Create sure you try within the refund time period!
