It contains following preprocessing algorithms: - Grayscale - Crop - Eye Alignment - Gamma Correction - Difference of Gaussians - Canny-Filter - Local Binary Pattern - Histogramm Equalization (can only be used if grayscale is used too) - Resize You can select from the following feature extraction and classification ways: - Eigenfaces with Nearest Neighbour - Photo Reshaping with Help Vector Machine - TensorFlow with SVM or KNN - Caffe with SVM or KNN The manual can be found here https://github.com/Qualeams/Android-Face-Recognition-with-Deep-Learning/blob/master/USER%20MANUAL.md At the moment only armeabi-v7a devices and upwards are supported. Eli Hasson: Worked before, now does not recognize. debuged it a tiny, looks like the problem is in the: onCameraFrame, ppF.getProcessedImage(img, PreProcessorFactory.PreprocessingMode.RECOGNITION); returns null. Seems it can't search the eyes. Using the default settings, have 2 trained classes.

If an un trained face appears It shows the name from trained faces , Please add some thing that present no effect found when the face is untrained .

Aardvark Mindshank: Actually quite good. Simply train it with 20 pics of each person. Then activate the recognition training. And finally it recognises the face. The images are place into the file system so that it's simple to edit/add your own. Very cool indeed. The I ly thing I need is some method to drive an external system from this - eg. output a receive endpoint url per person. That would let this system to drive home automation systems!

A Google user: Hey nice apk you have there. I have trouble tho, why training photo size is almost ~700kb for each file? Why don't reduce it up till ~10-50kb each file (rescaling photo or changing resolution?). Got upside down photo with Nexus 6, performance is so slow compared using opencv on raspberry pi. But good job, this is one of feature rich face recognize apk, you deserve it guys!
