It's not a bug and your GPS sensor isn't broken. There are two methods to fix this problem: 1. Install "GPS Status" from the Play, begin and receive a new GPS fix. You may need to repeat it a few times with 30 minute interval. 2. Begin FakeGPS, set your true place and leave it so for a few hours. You may combine these steps. The problem will disappear in one or two days - be patient. For ROOTED devices you can mock places without enabling "Let mock places" option. To do so please use Root Explorer or another related apk and move /data/app/ru.lexa.fakegps~1.apk to /system/priv-app or to /system/app (for Android device 4.3 and older). Then change app permissions to rw-r-r and reboot your device. If you search app in /syste/priv-app disappears after reboot it means that your devices has S-ON mode enabled and so restores /system folder aftear each reboot. Please google how to switch your device to S-OFF mode. If you can't search ru.lexa.fakegps.apk in /data/app you may search it at /mnt/asec/ru.lexa.fakegps/1.apk. In this case you could copy and rename it to /system/priv-app/ru.lexa.fakegps.apk.

A Google user: This just works, turn off all place items apart from use GPS and obviously set "let mock places" under developer settings. drag the marker onto the map press "GO" and it's set, only recommendation would be to place in an inaccuracy setting say 20-250m player settable as occasinally these gps sucking apks detect the 0m accuracy and error, good for putting Fb updates in post-event and another apks where you don't wish place revealed

Matty P: Little size, minimal battery, RAM and CPU and never a trouble on any device after installation and uninstall, including those mentioned by developer, when used properly. Trying to fake a GPS without right settings or while using IP tracking sites or apks will fail (to the comments before mine). A must have if you know and need how and why.
