After earning gold coins, kids can store in the family shop for things you offer as a reward for all the awesome things they are doing in FamilyGO. You can offer addition device time, a trip to the ice cream shop, a sleep over, or whatever you think would motivate your kid. FamilyGO has a vast collection of reward ideas that you can use to assist motivate your kid. You can even offer a weekly allowance if you think your kid is ready. FamilyGO has a unique kind of reward called a Large Ticket reward that introduces the concept of saving.
