  • C Caulfield: This is by far the best recorder apk I've yet come across. It offers a comprehensive set of functions and settings, with 'assist' text accessible with every setting, making it simple to learn and use. Currently it's the only apk I can search that offers 'professional' functions and a sophisticated player interface much like that found on high-end 'hardware' recorders. Level meters with 'dB' indication and an interface that tells you how the audio you're recording, or playing back, is being processed are very useful indeed. The developers are friendly, helpful, responsive, and promise further updates that will enhance it's functionality.

  • John: I'm currently using the Field Recorder on my Nexus 7 2nd gen smartphone. I'm a noob to field recorders but I like what I see so far. One thing I'd like to see in the next ver of this apk would be a slate feature so you can sync in post production. Hold up the good work.

  • Bryce Haymond: Best audio recorder in Google Play I've looked around, and there is no another audio recorder that can do what this one does. It is full featured. It's the only one I've found that has live monitoring, which is a must for any professional recording. The options and features are a lot of. Very well created! My only critique is that the interface design (GUI) should be better. Some of the menus and buttons are hard to navigate.

  • Geoff Peters: The best audio recorder apk I tried I have a Nexus 5 and I tried about 5 or 6 various recorders, and this apk provided the best quality and settings. I required to tweak the settings quite a bit to receive the best signal, but this apk rocks! It's actually a limitation of Android device itself that you can't directly control audio gain, but for most situations where the audio is quiet, this apk works good. Unfortunately I haven't found any awesome audio apk for android device that works at loud rock concerts, because the base gain is simply not adjustable yet in the OS.

  • Kenny Bates: Just bought it. Just a question. I go to concerts alot and like to receive some songs to my recordings. How is this during a live rock present. Does the recording come out awesome?? What settings could I use or can you suggest when recording. For example , could I boost the sound, could I place the bass and treble up. I had some problems before as I didn't fully understand it all and it would stop recording no more than 30 minute in, finally got around to receive the right settings. The only thing that would create this better is the ability to edit the audio files such as trim and whatnot :)

Upon reaching the developer, he jumped right on looking for a solution. As it stands, he believes there is a trouble with the HTC One firmware. I believe by the number of communications from the developer, that he is actively working along with HTC to search a solution.

This apk is by far the best Voice Recorder for Android device.

  • Zach Doyle: Good for Sampling! I have been looking for an audio recorder with this much choice and flexibility for quite some time now, and I've finally found it!! Has dozens of presets for the right recording situation, works extremely well with a lot of various kinds of mics, and gives you the ability to tweak literally any aspect of the apk! Monitoring, waveform display and pre-post recording are the cherry on top! Absolutely love this, and highly suggest it to anyone doing professional audio/voice recording! The only thing required now is USB mic help!
