FLTRsim® Simulate AC/HVAC System Influence on Aerosol & Particle Inhalation Risk FLTRsim® may enable experienced and knowledgeable Professional or Chartered Mechanical Engineers, experienced AC/HVAC technicians and qualified, building air quality specialists to simulate AC/HVAC system net effectiveness in limiting occupant exposure to nuisance particles. FLTRsim® simulation applicability and accuracy specifically relies on a building or facility professional's specific knowledge of a building’s AC/HVAC system characteristics, including but not limited to, net air filter effectiveness and measurable, clean, outside air dilution potential; place breathing place air distribution effectiveness factors found in building typical building Codes, floor place; and place occupant density and exposure duration. FLTRsim® Simulations are based on empirical ways and ongoing research regarding aspects of particle and aerosol transfer within enclosed places, sponsored and/or aggregated by agencies such as US CDC, US NIH, Eurozone ECDC; and different industry standards development and professional organizations. FLTRsim® may enable rapid assessment of the relative influence of key AC/HVAC system parameters on indoor air quality and may provide valuable insight into subsequent efforts to increase occupant comfort, confidence and reduce nuisance aerosol exposure risk.
