  philip johnson: Works really well on my smartphone, can take all my mags with me anywhere. Quality of pictures when zooming is perfect on a High Definition screen. Fast download on a awesome broadband connection. A good addition to a good mag.

  Norman Grieve: UPDATE. Since latest modernize apk now crashes when I test to bookmark & I still can't sync between my smartphone, smartphone & PC. ORIGINAL REVIEW ..... My only true problem with this is the apparent lack of any ability to sync between my smartphone, smartphone & PC. Effect, when my smartphone died the another day, my bookmarks died with it & I need to find problems & articles to test & search where I was up to!

  Ken Wilkinson: I've purchased FlyPast magazine a number of times in the past and was satisfied to see it appear in Google Play. Unfortunately I search the apk really terrible to use. First of all there is no text view so therefore every page has to be zoomed to a comfortable reading size which wouldn't be so awful if you should swipe to the next page at the same zoom level but you can't. The assist screen talks about accessing videos and photo galleries, I never found videos or photo galleries to view (July problem). In my view the apk is just not friendly enough to consider buying a subscription, shame because I do like the magazine.

  John Dixon: As long as I can only read my magazines if I can connect to Pocketmags online, even if they are downloaded, this apk will receive a single star from me. I'd forgotten this when I subbed to Flypast but I won't forget in future, which means I won't be subscribing any more until this is changed.

  Gary Trotter: The apk seems to check for internet connection on startup which prevents simple access to downloaded docs. Assumes that I wish to purchase documents every time I begin the apk. Would rate this much higher if the apk showed my downloads first and optionally had a shop feature.
