FortiToken Mobile (FTM) is an OATH compliant, event-based and time-based One Time Password (OTP) generator application for the mobile device. It is the client component of Fortinet’s highly safe, easy to use and administer, and extremely cost effective solution for meeting your powerful authentication needs. You will need to use FortiOS or FortiAuthenticator as the back-end validation server for FTM tokens. Push notifications for approving or denying login attempts is accessible. FTM also supports third party tokens for famous web sites. Privacy and Control: FortiToken Mobile cannot change settings on your smartphone, take pictures or video, record or transmit audio, nor can it read or send emails. Further, it cannot see your browser history, and it requires your permission to send you notifications or to change any settings. And, FortiToken Mobile cannot remotely wipe your smartphone. Any visibility FortiToken Mobile requires is to verify your OS ver to determine apk ver compatibility. While FortiToken Mobile cannot change any settings without your permission, the following permissions are relevant to FortiToken Mobile operations: • Access to camera for scanning QR codes for simple token activation • TouchID/FaceID: used for apk safety, respectively. • Access to the Internet for communication to activate tokens and keep push notifications • "Send Feedback by Email", to automatically populate the "Sender" field • Internally share files between apks to prepare an attachment to be sent by email for "Send Feedback by Email" • FortiToken must hold the smartphone awake while it is upgrading the internal database to avoid data corruption. Romi Bassett: Not thrilled with recent modernize. Keyboard doesn't auto-popup to enter pin (no doubt an effort to push the touch id... not a fanatic of that type of marketing) and the numbers are much smaller. This old teckie likes the bigger numbers.

Does the job and works well. Unfortunately the apk looks like it was developed 10 years ago. The UI is dated and unappealing. Updating the apk to follow modern Material Design rules would excellent the apk.

S Freeman: lots of problems: - camera permission, why? - time circle indicator is backwards - apk doesn't begin on first test - why hide the codes if they only latest 30 seconds, and you need to auth to see them anyhow? - if you slightly miss the unnecessary eye icon to unhide a temporary code that you just auth'd to view, it opens properties for that code, and is super annoying to have to deal with 30 times a day when your job requires it

Mat Rous: Used to be simple to use. Now it has a little display that is hard to read late at night when you need it. Also, you have to double tap to receive the keyboard up to kind the PIN in! EDIT - now you have to Tap to Unhide the Code. Bloody infuriating! Designed by someone with no working knowledge of using a token apk.
