  Mike Katz: Highly suggested Bought the physical ebook and then downloaded the gratis companion apk. Helped plan our visit, gave us the advices we required, and the background history was perfect (my son is a History Major) – just what we wanted to create our visit a success. The companion apk is the excellent complement to what was in the ebook – we used them side by side, and it was good having both. There is a bonus ver ($2.99) of the gratis apk that contains a ton more websites (those beyond downtown), a lot of detailed history that is hyperlinked to the websites, and another info like budget advices – some of this was also in the ebook, but there is fresh items here too. What is a assassin is that the apk automatically downloads (based on the language of the smartphone) pre-translated versions of the apk. We were having Spanish speaking guests, and they loved it! It supports 8 languages - Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese. My guess is Google Translate, because it is not excellent, but it is extremely helpful. All in all, a good product and very innovative. Strongly suggested.

  A Google User: Good map in apk format. Looks like this embeds a Google Map in an apk wrapper, but it's a phenomenal map and the apk exposes all the cool features - streetmode, directions, satellite view, etc. The map's content provides a ton. It's not as beautiful as some, but far more useful. A bargain at gratis.

  Michael Guio: This is the one. Good apk. Uses google maps to present the route with aim the official does, plus another interesting spots on the method. Each stop is clickable to see the info. Liked the gratis ver so much we downloaded the enhanced/additional content for $4. Only problem was sometimes not being able to search where we were. Well worth the download and purchase.

  OK Info-supplement Crashes method too often. But when it does work, it has basically the same details as the gratis pamphlet, and also gives awesome details on hours of operation, etc., as well as another sights along the trail that aren't part of the official Freedom Trail websites.

  Santiago Soares: Doesn't work Every time you touch the screen, in the stops descriptions, the apk will begin the option to buy bonus content. You close it, then it opens once more. It's simply not possible to use the apk. I would buy the bonus content, but I'm not sure if the trouble will stop even if I buy it. Edit: After I bought the bonus content, the trouble stopped. I'm changing my evaluation to 3 stars, and after the visit to the Freedom Trail I'll come back once more to tell how it was the experience. Anyway, I think it should be clearer what content is bonus and what content is gratis. I found it very anoying to use the apk without buying the bonus content.

  David Newton: Nearly very awesome This tour is interesting and well worth taking. The apk starts off well with an perfect map on on Google. However when you test to click through for the individual description s for each put it whirs away and doesn't begin up. My guess is that when too a lot of people are trying to access the server it doesn't have enough bandwidth. I'm glad I didn't pay for the bonus content. Then it would have been annoying. As a gratis apk it was fine.

  Petter Säterskog: Useless Useless on S4, zoom button on top of share button so keeps sharing trying to move around. The places arent overlaid properly and dont move correctly when the map is moved making it impossible to use. Much easier to walk trail and follow instructions in the road.

  Sara Galindez: Absolutely Useless Good apk with lots of interesting info, but only until you've clicked on 4-5 points of interest, then the Bonus Content request blurs out the pages, making the apk completely useless. UPDATE: Developer replied 12/10/16 to say this isn't the case, which may be very real now, but wasn't on 7/20/15 when I left the initial review. I would rely on more latest reviews about its performance when deciding whether or not to download it.

  GAVE THIS apk a 1, but it deserves a zero. After a few websites the trail websites' descriptions are blurred unless you make batter to the bonus content. Don't waste your time with this apk.
