FreeNAS Manager is an unofficial management apk that can be used to monitor and, to some degree, control a FreeNAS server. It is inspected and working on FreeNAS 9.2, 9.3, 9.10 10, and 11 (see below for version-specific notes). Features: - View primary server details (IP, ver etc.) - View volumes and their storage place status - Initiate scrub on volumes - View datasets and their storage place status - View jails and their status (running, IP, autostart) - Start/stop jail - Reboot, shutdown and wake (Wake on LAN) server - HTTPS help - including for selfsigned and/or invalid certificates (checkbox in settings) - Button for opening Web GUI in browser - Help for multiple servers - Begin jail IP address in browser - View disks - View number of accessible updates and apply them - View/start/stop plugins - View and run cron jobs - View and run rsync tasks - View Alerts Planned features (not yet implemented): - View shares and (maybe) let opening them in external apk - Widget - Offline help (present values from latest successful connect) - Reporting (graphs!). The API of FreeNAS 9.2 (and earlier) is various, so there are a couple of limitations when using that ver: - The server ver isn't accessible, so it is just shown as 9.2 or earlier. - Jails can't be started/stopped - Volume storage is not the sum of all datasets. It is the same on the Web GUI. On FreeNAS 9.10 starting and stopping a plugin currently doesn't work, which is an bug in FreeNAS. I have reported it and will hold an eye on their progress towards fixing it. Support for FreeNAS 10 (Corral) is limited right now, so only overview, volumes, disks and power control is accessible. Privacy information: This apk does not under ANY circumstances contact ANY another server than the one you provided in settings. In another words: Your password (and all another info) is secure - even from me. There are NO ADS - nor will there ever be. Open source? Not yet, but I am strongly considering begin sourcing this apk. It depends on the help I receive from you guys :) Why is it not free? shant minassian: Really good apk, just a note that if you go into plugins inside the apk, those are actually the jail status and not the plugin on/off status as on the web ui, you the jail should be running but the plugin off. Would be good if you can toggle plugins on/off from inside the apk. EDIT: problem now fixed, very fast response and fix from developer.

Dennis D: I have been using this apk for about a year now and I mostly love it. i would like to see some more system reporting and customization for each server (ie: backgound photos, various themes). its stable and has a decent dashboard. the only apk i use to monitor or control primary functions of my FreeNAS servers.

Ralph Hackenitz: This apk is excellent for me. Fast and simple method to monitor your freenas server without opening the webgui. Even thought I have an official ssl certificate, the webgui on mobile is always nagging. This apk brings that culprit to an end! Even works without problems over my openvpn connection at home! Would like to see more options in the future and will rate more stars when I have more experience using it.

Nick Olano: Works good overall! Originally I should not log into my server at all but after a few hours of troubleshooting to determine that if I shorten my root password I was able to login. It seems the apk seems to have a password length limit that is shorter than the freenas limit. I was using a password manager and coping and pasting the long password in so I know it wasn't a typo.

Dylan Jackson: I've had a few problems using this apk to install updates. Once it said it failed even though it didn't (I just had to reboot), and other time it said it failed, I rebooted, and the installation was corrupted and wouldn't boot until I manually did an make batter installation.

Sander Bron: I'm in doubt about this apk, it looks kinda weird, especially for it being paid. But that's not very necessary if it would be done well otherwise. However, a lot of functionality isn't provided. Jails, VMs, plugins, Cron Jobs, Rsync etc all are read only, or provide primary options like "run task" the web UI of FreeNAS isn't really usable when on mobile, but this isn't a awesome alternative either. but for a fast look on the disk usage it's fine.
