Freeport Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1983 by Dr. David Bourassa. The clinic was originally located on Durham Street as a home office for Dr. Bourassa. As the need to expand arose, the current facility was built in 1998. Upon Dr. Bourassa’s retirement in October 2005, Dr. Carolyn Radding purchased Freeport Veterinary Hospital and took over all operations. Freeport Veterinary Hospital is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to help in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of illness as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as important during his or her lifetime. We are especially known for our work in dental care, acupuncture and behavioral issues in both dogs and cats. Each and every one of our fourteen staff members is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to both you and your pet.
