  A Google user: All in all I like this application very much I took off one star because it has a few intermittent bugs. For example, in the testing drills, it sometimes gives me the same note over and over and over once more. And it has sometimes given me a blank name for a chord. It is very awesome, but just slightly buggy.

  Jennifer Tillman: I recently devoted myself to learning melody theory so I can learn to understand what I am playing. I was looking for an affordable solution that I should input my own lessons. Such as breaking it down into chunks of 2. Like memorize all B-C and E-F places etc. This apk allows you to make custom lessons which is exactly what I required. I would recommend there be a method to set specific notes to be read as flats or sharps. Ex. Eb, Bb and the rest as sharps.

  Erik: Can you please create an option to remove the question marks in the quizzes where you chose the position. Toward the end of the quiz there's only a few question marks left and it type of defeats the purpose of the quiz. Thanks!

Seems like the check boxes aren't initialized correctly if you make more than one quiz in a row. Required features: - "retry quiz" button on quiz statistics popup - edit saved custom exercises - recognize the note if played on a guitar If those receive fixed / added then I'd give it 5 stars.

  Scott Sadler: So much potential. Very buggy though. Quizzes will randomly jump to strings or notes outside the quiz parameters. When changing to a various quiz, you will search yourself back on the same one you just finished. Selected options don`t always receive applied. For instance if you chose 25 questions, you will often only receive 16. Scrolling fretboard can be disorienting. Scroll speed is annoying. Too slow when the apk is displaying something for you to see. Option to increase speed makes it impossible to manually scroll if you test to accomodate for the above. Once you finish a quiz, would be nice to be able to simply retake that quiz, or others, directly from that page. Instead you have to go back to home screen, select menu, select take quiz, THEN search the quiz you wish to take. Apk is on the right track. Just needs to work on these things

  Lloyd Walls: The apk has a scrolling fretboard that allows you to more accurately tap the position of strings. This may be nice for some people, but I would prefer to have a stationary fretboard that goes from the nut to the 12th fret. I found that I use a larger view of the fretboard to identify the notes. I also think found that the colors for each note to be a tiny distracting, although this feature can be turned off. Another than that the apk is a awesome learning program.

  Matt Serianni: The apk is very useful, the lessons and quizzes are very helpful, and customization is nice! This apk also has some of the best sounds in fretboard apks, whereas others can be very annoying. The reason I gave only 3 stars is because there is a bug that occurs very often where when you finish a quiz and return to the main screen, it gives you no buttons to do something else, and you have to quit the apk and re-initialize to hold practicing. If the bug were fixed, I'd give it 4 stars. Functionalities I would suggest adding: an option to present both flats and sharps at the same time, and the ability to remove the fretboard panning when showing notes. I wish to be able to see the whole fretboard (at least from 0-12 frets at the same time with no panning during the duration of the activities!

  Eddie Bowers: A sharp (or a flat) is NOT an accedental. An accedental is a note that falls outside of the key. They would only be accedentals if you were playing in the key of C which has no sharps or flats. Some sort of note drill would be helpful.

  Saz Dosanjh: it seems useful, it will take some time to see a practical benefit. Strange that it doesn't fit the screen of a Google Pixel 3xl, that is one of the basics of apk development. after taking a custom quiz there are no menu options on screen. I have to exit and reset the apk.

  BandOf Monkeys: Paid ver of apk opens with a semi-opaque white "Title" box that covers practically the entire fretboard and some of the apks menu buttons ( lower left); I had this same trouble with the gratis ver as well ( but I assumed at the time that it was on purpose by the developer to prompt downloaders to buy the full ver of the appright away). Two days gone by and developer has not replied to offer any recommendations on how to address. I have tried on two devices and same trouble. My recommendation ( since it appears that some another folks have reviewed the apk positively ) is to see if the gratis ver works well on your device first or if this same huge-view-blocking-box appears; if that happens, do not be surprised if the paid ver is also blocked out by this same semi-opaque box ---- preventing you from seeing or clicking on most of the notes of the guitar. A shame really, because it looks like a good concept. Satisfied to modernize my review if I keep help to resolve the problem.
