  David Wood: works good on my HTC One m8 smartphone so giving 5 star's but smartphone is too little got s Mediapad T5 and have nothing but problem freezes at playing screen everything else works though. trying to use report problem within the apk on my t5 says sending then the apk restarts. modernize all working good on smartphone and T5 . Just not had time to modernize this post t busy learning how to play guitar.

Help is perfect in addressing the limited problems that I had (asked for some extra songs to be uploaded, they were accessible in less than an hour). Also had some problems with the adhesive sticking to the guitar neck but they recommended double sided tape.

  Dave Moore: The apk crashes when you find for a song. Also gives a lost internet connection error when I have a excellent connection. I emailed the developer telling them the problems I was having and the answer was that they were not aware of any current problems with the apk. How can that be when I'm reading reviews on here from just a few days ago saying the apk does not work? I wish to buy this thing but won't do it until I know the apk works. I have a Samsung Note 9. I tried it on am older Samsung Not 4 and it crashed on that one too. Edit: Thank you for fixing the apk. I can now view the song selections. I was really excited when I heard about the Fret Zelot. Been waiting for something like this to come out for years. But wasn't about to buy something that you couldn't use because the apk had problems. Am satisfied to say I just ordered one. Will be delivered to my house in a few day. Thanks once more.

  David Fodor: This is a unbelievable apk and is highly suggested for those wanting to learn to play the guitar! This apk along with the hardware teaches you like your own personal tutor and makes learning alot easier! In future updates, please contain the ability to teach standard notation in addition to tablitature and please contain the five string bass guitar! With Fretzealot, you can immediately sit down and learn to play your favorite songs! I don't work for them nor am I getting paid for this review!

I had problems with my Fret Zealot not working and I had gorgeous customer service help and the defective part replaced, connected to the apk and everything worked ok ! This is super useful to learn fresh songs, solos or scales. In particular I can slow down the speed of the song to adjust to my pace for learning correct positions.

  Isaac Cortis: I have just installed my fret zealot a week ago, I really like the idea, but the Bluetooth disconnects every time I test to set a scale on the fretboard, literally if I press the root note on and off 6 times quick the Bluetooth will disconnect 6 times. None of the troubleshoots with help have solved the problem yet I just wish to play with you fret zealot

  Gerard Cayo: In the words of Darth Vader, "Your lack of faith disturbs me." For the most part, most of my Bluetooth devices do not require GPS access. So to say that there is no method around it is just short of a lie. Just short because you can only be held accountable for what you actually know. This app/device is in it's infancy. Just like Harley Davidson motorcycle's, it may not even be you carrying the torch in the future. But obviously it is up to you to carry it to the next phase.

  A Google user: I just received mine in the mail. Going to give it a go today. Why is there no shortcut for this apk. I have to hold going into the play shop to begin it. Is there a method to delete the hundreds of bands I have never heard off? Who are these people? Have to scroll for 15 mins just to search what I am looking for. Kudos for the ease of installation. Could warn us older people about the band selection, I probably would not have ordered if I knew.

  Mary McNamara: Absolutely LOVE the look of this. It's very easy to set up and the random light present is very cool. Tuning is intuitive and looks good. The device was easier to set up than I imagined, and the apk is simple to pair. Overall it still has a lot of bugs though. The songs aren't fun yet (no rythym and just single notes, despite awesome song choice). The "light present" section doesn't work. The chords are weird (for instance, the choice for G major - really?!), and the layout for selecting chords is over-complicated, especially when people likely to be using that section of the apk are more likely to need major or minor chords, not sharp diminished sevenths! I feel like there's a better method to do that section yet. I'm optimistic about this though because there clearly has been a lot of love place into the Fret Zealot. They've accomplished a lot, and hopefully it will go from strength to strength.

  TW Rider: Simple to install and use. There is no feedback mechanism or sync between the lights on the guitar and apk. As an example, the apk shows an arpeggio, I play the arpeggio. Did I do it right? I like to think I did. Also, on an arpeggio example, can the lights turn on in the playing sequence instead of full chord coming on at the same time. Largest problem I have is there is no feedback to the user - neither in the apk nor on the guitar.

  Ryan Jones: Awesome selection for younger players. Decent selection for older players. The led strip is peeling after a monh of not much use, so maybe a better glie should be used?. cleaned neck with iso alc prior but didnt seem to assist. Its on a gibson r9
