  Ryan Dykstra: I just started CNC machining and this apk has been a lifesaver. With old school machining it is simple to play around with feeds by just the feel of it, but with CNC you will just have a pile of broken programs if your feeds are wrong. Just one thing I was curious about. Should you guys place Face Mills on the apk?

  Josh Quigley: I'm a Class A Machinist and Tool with MasterCam. This apk save me so much time from looking up Feeds and Speeds in catalogs or the Macining Data Handbook. I use this apk nearly every day to improve old tools just by increasing RPM and Feed rates to what they could be instead of the old and slow method of doing things. I got on board with MasterCams Dynamic milling and use this apk with the HSM tuned on and they go hand and hand wonderfully, and I wouldn't go backwards if I had too! THANKS FSWIZARD!!!!

  Jim Benson: I've tried a few of these types of apks and this one blows them away. I use this daily at work. It has reduced machine time on some parts by more than half. For eg. , I was running an index cutter at 50 ipm/2400 rpm when I've should've been running it 220 ipm/5800rpm. So much easier than getting the large Machinist's out and figuring out the right speeds and feeds. Plus it has an override so you don't go over the max rpm/ipm of your machine. So a lot of features. Can't describe what a lifesaver this was.

  Carl Hutson: This is the most comprehensive machining apk I've used so far. A few additions would create it excellent, the drill, tap and screw tables would be better if they went larger, at least up to 50mm. I work in the UK so primarily work in metric, would be nice to have the option of a drill chart that is based off mm (mm on the far left) and has 0.1 mm increments instead of 0.25, 6.2 and 6.3mm bits are common 6.25 not so much. Would be nice to have the Imperial tapping charts split into BSW, BA, UNC, UNF ect. The FSWizard should also do with options for BSW, BA, BSP and NPT taps. Thanks for making an perfect apk, if you should add in an ISO bearing fit chart and Key-way charts I'd be able to throw out my engineers handbook.

I can't remember all the various settings for speeds and feeds. This apk gives me a awesome starting point. This is the most extensive, informative apk out there. It is well suited for the beginner or pro. Thanks for a good apk!

  tmarkoski: The only problem I found were some glaring spelling mistakes. This apk is, hands down, the best of its type on the shop! UPDATE: I just found a major bug with tapping w/ cobalt taps w/ a coating. RPM is WAY too high when calculating for any material. The true difference between HSS and Cobalt is less than 10%. 9000+ RPM in 6061??? The cutting speeds given for tapping can not be trusted for any material. Good apk for everything else. Tapping needs work.

  Steven Luong: This better than "good". I had Machinist Calculator2 Pro and it is much hard to use than FSWizard Pro Machinist Calc. Simple to use, more expensive but so what? I bought the Machinist Calculator2 Pro for $40 dollars anf this one costs $50 but it is much more productive. I usually don't care how much does it cost as long it makes cash for me. Pay $50 dollars but I gain thousand, thousand, thousand of dollars because of this good FSWizard Machinist Pro apk.
