  Roy Burgess: Has potential (and bugs). athe largest problem being that if you use the settings option to shop data on an SD card rather than internal storage it will not download charts, thus internal memory fills quick and it is essetially unsuable on a reasonaly full device.

  Tim Hayward: Without purchasing Garmin maps or a connected Garmin chartplotter this is beautiful useless. The base map is very low resolution. You can't add stuff to ActiveCaptain except online as this apk opens a webview for that. It is often unresponsive.

  Mike Baker: Would be good if the save chart to SD Card setting actually worked. Please fix that ASAP so we can use the charts we paid for. The updated apk still does not work properly with Android device devices saving charts to an SD Card. It downloads the tiles ok and displays the data. But once you leave the Apk and go back to the chart all the downloaded info has disappeared.

  ROAD RAT: Apk can be very risky for marine navigation as the maps are incorrect and some points are incorrectly labeled. Apk ceases to function at random and at times when correct navigation info is essential for security of life and property. Apk has proved to be not secure or reliable for secure passage through east coast ICW of Va. NC. SC. And Ga. I recommend an alternative navigational aid until further development of the apk is competed and functionality problems are addressed.
