  Jim Miller: Very simple to use. However, I'd like the ability to view my recap hours. Since using the apk I have yet to actually need my recap hours but, from time to time I do necessitate the need for the recap. From reading the reviews, I'm seeing the apk does not have the ability to track or apply recap hours. This needs to be clarified, and if important fixed.

  Claude Butnaru: I just installed this tpday. I switched from rand McNally which is absolutely horrific. So far so awesome . It stays connected it's decent. But..GARMIN !!! SWITCH THE MAXIMUM UNREGISTERED SPEED FROM 5 MPH TO 15 OR 20 miles per hour. So I can move in the yard or truck stop. Every another elog device has minimum 15 miles per hour. I'll modernize it later, hopefully Garmin will change this. Compared to the Rand McNally`s tool this is 10 times better and it hasn't been freezing my smartphone. Will modernize.

  John Sherrer: There's a whole lot of improvement required here. It requires me to kind in the VIN and tractor number everytime I begin the apk. Everytime I stop at a stoplight, it changes my status to "On Duty." Maybe that doesn't matter so much, but it creates a ton of additional records, so when I go back to label my stops, I have find through all the records to search when I was actually "On Duty." This device wastes a lot of my time, but I'm hoping they are working on making it better.

  Donald Higgs: Well place this thing in this morning earlier. Now it wish allow me pair my Alpine Radio with my smartphone so I can listen to my Music/audio books(This sucks) also needs to have the fingerprint reader option that would speed up getting into the App/Driver Profile..Get up 5mph and it kicks you into driving, just got to remember to log off of driving when you stop.. It also has showed to Malfunctions with the Elog device not sure what that's all about.. 2003 Freightliner Century 12.7L Detroit DDEC 4 paired with a Samsung S8+... Have yet to figure out how to pair it with my Garmin Dezl 770LM maybe it's got something to do with the Alpine Radio..😞

  eric moorman: Needs work, rolled out to early. Awesome thing I got a backup and didn't place all my eggs in one basket. There is no option that I can search for car inspections. C'mon, primary items that is needed. I accept with another reviews, needs landscape view option along with another improvements. Will not be using until I see an modernize. I was able to connect to my GPS, but still needs GPS on my smartphone on, or else a warning comes up, REALLY? I like Garmin products, but this still needs more work

You cannot change anything to do with driving( when pulling up to fuel it will still be in driving for 5 more mins)stay under 5mph if u have to pull up There's a 5 minute delay duty status from driving line (prepare ahead) If you just brought the item you can't add any logs from the previous days (your weekly time will be incorrect Change duty state we b4 moving or u will lose 5 minute (that 30 break will go to 25 minute making you do it all over once more Customer service can't do anything for you (your own your own what ever that log say means u did it D.O.T doesn't care about your excuses. Receive what we paid for no monthly service

  Bryan and Martha Smith: On the plus side, no monthly fee. Negative is that it counts driving time even if the truck is shut off. Only method to change duty status from driving is to log out. Has a lot of error messages. I'll be replacing this soon. I need one that works.

  Brad Potts: Newer revisions fixed some problems but it's still not reading my odometer, distance, engine hours correctly. 11hr day I drove 7k, other day 999999😰. WTH? And backing up via flash drive is buggy. Takes me 10mins to receive it to read the flash drives I have. And stop popping up a screen while driving telling me to backup, I can't backup then cause the screen is locked on driving.
