  Bill Bain: Works beautiful well for a first generation product Paired easily with my Galaxy S3 and my LG G Pad v410. I like that the maps are downloaded so you don't have to have a data connection to use the navigation, unlike Google Maps or Apple Maps. Interestingly, on the iPhone/iPad ver, you can download the entire North America map set as one download, but each individual state and Canadian place has to be downloaded separately in the Android device ver. I do a fair amount of travel to the Caribbean and the iPhone/iPad ver includes a lot of Caribbean islands, which the Android device ver doesn't. Every once in a while the pairing fails when I receive in the vehicle and I have to restart the HUD device by turning it off and then on once more. Still, for what I paid ($70), it's a nice addition and the Navigon tool isn't too awful. Only giving the Android device ver 4 stars because the iOS ver is so much more developed.

The iphone apk looks like the screenshots, Android device is much less for featurea and function; but it is easy, works good. smarter routes than google maps. pairs flawless with HUD. notifies speed on screen and on hud, and warns if you go over (customizable)...it will even warn you about upcoming red light theft attempts!! between vehicle trips i can use the maps offline for a short period of time (30 days). makes the price of the HUD well worth it! i will be using both for a lot of years/phones to come! PLEASE NOTE: it's not excellent

  Marty Robar: Unable to change 24H Time - difficult interface As the title says, the interface is very convoluted. My largest frustration is that arrival time is stated in 24H format, and I can't see anywhere to be able to change it to 12H format!

  Keith Quinn: So awesone, so a lot of what were you thinkings Navigon with the Garmin HUD display is really cool when fully ready to go. But having to pair it e erytime time??? The power cord comes out the left side of the HUD. Really??? That's where the steering wheel is. Even without the HUD we are (could be) so far past the pick a state, then town, then street....I just "OK Google" and have address and directions in 2 seconds. Without voice input or Google integration The tedious input frustrates me long before the maps begin to impress.

  Gary Hughes: Where's the voice Description of apk say it has voice-guided turn by turn directions. I do not hear any voice when using it with garmin hud+. I did search an optional 3d map and voice in the shop for $15 but I don't wish to pay if this ver says it has voice! Solved the problem on my own (Thanks for the lack of help) . For some reason it uses system volume instead of media volume . Once I turned that up I should hear this hidious voice.

  Michael Kelley: For Me Well for me I only kept my HUD for about a week it just didn't work for my needs. Three various times three various place the Garmin down load apk came up short of the place that I input in another words my place still had distance to travel before arrival. The sun light at times were powerful knocking out (with powerful light) my visional HUD photo. But you know til this day I have and use my trustee Garmin 2595 LMT GPS wouldn't leave home without it...

You guys have HERE map licenses, then look HERE maps, looks soo MUCH better, even the SAME OPTIONS AND FREE TRAFFIC! No wonder Garmin is a dying brand, adapt give customers a reason. Maybe port Here maps on the Garmin ecosystem and same cash, But having an Apk like window CE in the 21st century is ridic!

  Ed Dunning: Garmin HUD North America - Just got the HUD Bluetooth has to be un-paired and re-paired every time the HUS is powered off. I cannot receive Garmin HUD North America to connect to my LG G2 smartphone. Gives notice No Head-Up Display/Screen found. Display of HUD days OK. Cannot register product without downloading large Garmin Express. Since there is no USB connection, you cannot register. Very POOR SUPPORT. And I though Tom Tom was awful.

  Milla Weaver: Crashes a lot We have this apk on their iPhone and android device. They are very various apks. There are a lot of features on the iPhone this one does not have (i.e. changing the vehicle icon). The iPhone ver is much better. This one crashes more often than it runs. Please fix it.

  J Getrum: Awful handling of audio. Seems to whisper the instructions, even when set to the loudest possible settings, and if you have other apk that plays audio, instead of muting or pausing the another source, it whispers even quieter and makes the another source unintelligible as well. Even at full volume the voice audio is 1/2 that of any another apk on the smartphone.

  Steve Wilson: Half works. GPS works good. Speedometer cuts out. Tried on two phones. Same exact thing. As long as I'm navigating, it works ok. If I just drive and view the speed, it just registers "0" every few seconds. No matter where my smartphone is. VERY dissapointing.
