  Jarred Baines: I'm giving 5 stars cos, where is the tournament? Can't trust makerbot didn't beat you to it! I just wrote a fast code to begin SD card prints and it works, but it would be good to see included in future updates the ability to list SD contents and select a file to print, as well as manual input (sending custom gcodes) aside from that, thanks for a really good apk! Edit: just found the ability to send manual commands, its a tiny clunky IMO but the necessary thing is its there ;-)

  Aric Cudnohosky: I can tell it is definitely geared towards all bluetooth use, which is good. I Had a spare HC-05 bluetooth adapter from my quadcopter projects and all I had to do was plug in into the Ramps board enable it on Marlin and bingo I was using the apk to control the printer. A really large touch screen control of the printer for hardly any cash.

  Alex Bruski: This is the only Android device apk I have found to send g-code to my 3-d printer and control it manually. It even allows pause and continue during a print. I have not had a single trouble with this apk. It works good! The only improvement would be to add STL file opening and object slicing to generate the g-code. I currently have to generate g-code with Slic3r on a pc. Now that I have used it on more prints, I can give a tiny extra info... When printing really complex models that take a lot of memory, it can receive lost and freeze up once in a while. Using the GCODE command G92 Xnnn Ynnn Znnn Ennn which resets the specified coordinates to fresh values can cause the display to draw the model incorrectly.

  David Wasa: Well, I still need my USB OTG cable in order to test it on a true 3D printer, but the apk very well done. There is an additional functionality that would be cool to add: the ability to draw a "pattern" in a loop on the printer. For example, if I should just press a button so that the XY axis draw endles circles it would be very helpful for calibration.

  Mike Roman: All I did was order a USB OTG cable from amazon that I required to hook my smartphone into my RUMBA board and everything was properly seen, recognized and connected without any hassle. The only suggestion I would create is to place the temperatures in a larger size font so it is simple to see. Otherwise, its excellent!

  James Fabian: Good apk. The first android device apk that can completely control your printer. It immediately works on my Solidoodle 2 Pro printer. I did a little try print and it's really good to see it printing from my Galaxy S3 smartphone! I have'nt used it totally but some of my feedback so far 1) Setting of extruder/bed temperature. Instead of a slider can we have the option to kind in the values? It's hard to set to a specific temperature with sliders. 2) Is it possible to charge the smartphone thru the otg?

  F. Malpartida: Very useful application and good for getting your prints onto a RepRap directly from the tablet´s uSD to the printer via USB or bluetooth. I have to admit that the help this application is getting is top notch. Since I bought it, its had a few corrections that create it very useful. A few 3D printer manufactures could take a look at it and think about integrating it in their printers instead of those 20x4 LCDs! I do miss the native android device UI and a few nice features such as printing from the machine´s on-board SD, sending files to the SD, temperature graph view, ok temperature control... However, seeing how the author has evolve it you could stay tunned to this channel.
