  • Narfi Stefansson: Very effective apk This apk replaces a lot of flash cards! I search it easy to use and effective. The apk has all of the features that a physical stack of flash cards gives you, including the card shuffling, and then it add the pronunciation, examples and pictures. All in all, I search it definitely to be worth the cash and cash. I look forward to getting the Genki II vocabulary in here as well.

  • Jeff Lampiasi: Good apk, definitely suggest I've used all of the Genki apks for iPhone and they were really helpful so I'm glad they're finally being released for Android device. I've been using this on the subway on my method to and from school and it has helped enormously. I'd definitely suggest this over any gratis third-party flash card apks if you can afford it, just for the quality and consistency of an apk that was created for your textbook. I just got the kanji apk as well, and I hope the conjugation one will come soon.

  • warshafts  : Genki finally in Android device! I love genki ebooks! I don't need to make my own tango clips to review. I can now rely on this apk. The apk is awesome but still need some improvements. I hope you can also add the kanjis. Also, the UI is a tiny bit weird for first time players so I hope you can improve the UI designs.   • Darren Shields: Unbelievable supplement to the textbooks I have no complaint about the content at all. My only recommendation would be to create the text larger. The Kana and kanji used are a bit little and some of us have eyes that are not as young as they once were. Perhaps create the size of the Japanese text scalable?

  • Maitland Vaughan-Turner: First of all, i receive why some people dont like this apk. It is definitely a companion apk to the textbook/workbooks, and it is intended to accompany a class based on those ebooks. Now, if you are taking a class that yses the genki ebooks, good. Receive this apk. It will assist you study for exams without having to waste time making flashcards. Otherwise, maybe consider saving cash to receive a various apk. There are flashcard apks that are gratis. Also, if you wish to learn kanji, check out wanikani, it is good. You receive method more for gratis. (But pay for high level studies) Basically, this apk is for people with the ebooks and taking a class. Otherwise, it is very incomplete and a waste of cash. This apk could really be gratis.

  • Quemael Foo: Option to hide kanji? As someone who knows Chinese, the kanji is very awful in Japanese mode because I peek at the kanji and immediately know what the word means, which defeats the purpose of hiding the English text. I'm covering the kanji with my finger for now, but I'd love a method to hide the kanji. Another than that, love the apk.

  • Vulpes Lupus: Good apk! Good for learning the ebook vocab. Love the fact it has ebook two vocab already so I can receive a head begin before I buy the ebook. I have only one trouble so far, and that is that the sound symbol will sometimes hide the furigana for kanji when in MyDeck. A fast fix for this is to flip the card over, however you then receive the reply. Modernize: After using this apk for a tiny while I have discovered the kinks in the system. One being the ui working in a weird method including what seems to be a reverse highlight on what settings you have active. I am reasy ro actually go back to making anki cards using just the word and reply. Seems good at first but needs a lot of rethinking.

  • Chris Ketchum: A decent apk with room for improvement. It's nice that the apk has all the vocab as flash cards, that can be very helpful, but it doesn't have specific sections for the kanji in the ebooks. It also should be a bit more extensive on the methods you can quiz yourself. For the price, and the fact that most people are also paying for the ebooks, I trust it could contain quite a but more.

  • patrick hurney: The apk is awesome for cutting some time from writing flash cards to memorize vocab for the class I take using the Genki ebooks. The lack of flexibility to orginze my deck is frustrating however. Every time I would like to refresh the deck of unknown vocab I have to sift through all the words I know by heart or have no need to learn at the moment. They have split the chapters into sections however the don't always split logically, say having the first section covering half of the nouns, then the second covering the second half of the nouns that just the い-adjectives. Over all positive but only if you're willing to deal with sifting your deck each time you begin studying new

  • Fairly useful for learning the vocabulary through repetition. It's beautiful inexcusable that there isn't a section for testing Kanji though. They should also do a better job of letting you try yourself by adding some utilities like shuffling your deck, etc.

  • Jack Collins: It's nice I really like the apk but the method you memorise the words just doesn't click with me. It gives you the word and you click if you know it yet or not or if you are unsure (don't know how that differs from know). Then you can be inspected on the words you don't know and it asks you if you know them once more. This probably really works for some people though. All in all it is a usefull apk as it has all the words in genki in one put; however, for the price I feel like there could be more methods to learn.

  • Jack Morgan: Very clean apk. However there is an problem that I feel is a bit of an oversight. I would like the ability to have the kana and the photo present without the English when in Japanese mode. The same as the English mode but in reverse (Kana + photo). Will 5 star if this is addressed.

  • Schnup Fuzzfoot: It's annoying that the most necessary feature doesn't work. In check mode, when you tap on the word, the meaning in the another language is supposed to be displayed so you can double-check if you really know the word. But this doesn't work.
