A Google user: This apk is near excellent. Without it, I wouldn't have purchased a SW3 and quite frankly Sony could be including this Apk with the watch and paying you because it takes the watch to the next level. There are at times minor bugs. It can be frustrating when you switch apks to skip to the next song and Ghostracer stops working and loses your entire run (almost like an apk crash). I've experienced it <10% of the time or less while running ~5mi at a time so it's just frequent enough to be annoying but given there is nothing else out there that does what Ghostracer does I can't even knock a star for it. This apk allows me to use a Jabra Sport Pulse headset for heart rate (sound is mediocre just a warning). The combo is terrific though - heart rate, GPS, no 6" smartphone on runs. Uploading to Strava and Runkeeper is dead easy and basically automatic. It also fixes the trouble of Google Fit not tracking my run as Fit will sync the Strava data (prior to syncing to Strava, Fit always assumed I didn't do anything because my smartphone data overrode the watch data). This is an apk worth paying for - it being a gratis download is a steal.

Samson Opiyo Ouma: Finally, other substitute for Strava, method better than the another cycling apks. The GPS tracking on offline is on point (its excellent), auto-upload to Strava is a fresh feature I have never seen. Please hold up the good work, dont alter much. Thanks.😊

A Google user: The ONLY apk to not force you to use "standalone mode" on wearOS. Runtastic tries to do this, but ends up never switching to ambient mode, completely killing battery in 1 hour flat. IT's a very easy ask, very required for those of us who have run for a long time (3hrs+), and this easy tiny apk, does it. There's nothing fancy here, no crazy graphics (y do you need them?) no membership coaching thing...just gratis easy apk that lets you use your wearOS watch as a 'second screen' for your runs.

A Google user: To me this is a good competitor to Garmin. I use it on an old smartphone with no SIM card which I mount on my handlebars. As well as competing versus previous Strava segments it displays key info and will upload HR and cadence to Strava.

It's shows GPS signal strength before a run , which is a large plus the runkeeper on Android device wear is to plain. And this syncs workouts to runkeeper automatically! Highly suggested

A Google user: Still enjoying this apk. It has helped me receive faster on my bicycle for a couple years now! The critical feature it is missing is a screen lock... When sweat drops on the screen it can accidentally push the pause button or change screens. I have got around that by installing the "Touch Lock" apk and that seems to have addressed the problem nicely. Good battery life (as opposed to Strava) and a very customizable screen. Give it a test before purchasing a fancy head unit!

A Google user: Now that Google tracks in effectively going and the Sony smartwatch 3 on board GPS is supported without the need for a smartphone to be connected, it might be an idea to add 'walking' as an activity to count steps, then the fitbit can be binned.
