Gloomhaven Helper is a companion apk for playing the Gloomhaven board mini game. It tracks initiative, creatures, and users so you can focus on playing the mini game rather than bookkeeping. Playing the mini game becomes faster, as does setup and tear down. Gloomhaven Helper eliminates the need for the following Gloomhaven components: • creature ability card decks • creature stat sheets and sleeves • the creature attack modifier deck • creature hurt tokens • creature and user condition tokens • the element infusion board, element discs, and round tracker • user HP/XP dials • hero boards Besides making setup easier, Gloomhaven Helper also improves play in a lot of fresh methods: • Devices running the apk can be synchronized over the network so each user can view and change the mini game state from their own private device. • Rows are dragged to initiative order, making it clear who is next. • Creature abilities report the numbers to use, reducing stat lookup (Range 3 instead of Range -1). • When a creature is flying, the creature ability card shows the "flying wings" icon for movement rather than the usual "boot". • Creatures can be marked as "summoned" so you know they could not drop a coin when they die. • Creature statistics are hidden until the creature appears. • Tracking element infusions prevents forgeting to move the element down. • User current and max HP is easily visible to all players.
