  Thomas Szewczuk: I still use my 1980s HP41CX but the card reader circuitry died in the 90s and now Xmem seems to be fading. I saw these virtual apks for the PC and started using them. I was able to save my .raw files to hard disk and load HP player group .mod as well. When I saw this apk I was able to load my .raw files to my device as well as using PPC ROM, apk packs plus print capabilities! And portable to beat. Good! This apk is worth more than 5 Stars.

  Owls Rook: Thank you. Some fresh phones have no Menu button. I had to install "Menu Button (no root)" apk to place a floating menu bar on the top screen. There was no method to import modules and overlays without it. Apk takes a while to figure out. Place modules in /storage/sdcard0/Android/data/o2s.emul.hp41cx/files/modules/CIRCUIT.MOD (in this case CIRCUIT.MOD) then with calculator off, press centre of 41cx Lcd.Press mods. Press menu button on floating bar and you will receive IMPORT. Overlays need own folder..so do RAWS use xxxxX_o.png overlays the .jpg ones don't load

  A Google user: This is a unbelievable apk with a lot of features to control the HP-41CX/CV. Features a true emulation of the HP-41 ROM, and not an approximate simulation. Contains handy assist pages on flags, functions, and more. Froze completely once but didn't happen since then, the only resort was to re-install it... the hard/soft restart didn't appear to solve the trouble. Manual is on the site. Suggested to HP enthusiasts!

  Jeff Hill: Before the "but" I must say, buy the cx ver. $9.00 is a deal. I paid $300+ for my 41cx in 1984 and used it every day for years. I loved everything about it, except the 14 segment LCD. With only 6.4KB RAM and no GPU it was a important compromise 35yrs ago but it's a crappy font. Today this sits on my smartphone -- 2GB RAM, quad-core CPU & GPU. Nostalgia is ok, but I would like the option of taking advantage of my 1080 x 1920 display by using the most readable font possible. Nexus 5. 5.0.1

  Ed Wright: I trust this sets the bar for an Android device calculator apk. For me, it replaces my 41CX lost years ago. With the ability to try it out first with the gratis GO41C, how can you go wrong? It adds so much with the ability to use any plug-in modules for whatever task you have to perform, and even use keyboard overlays! I can't wait to test to make my own overlay. This is good fun and extremely useful!

  Robert Noble: Best simulator of the best calculator ever. Can't beat it for engineering calculations. Wish the PI key to give 2*PI? Write a fast tool, assign it to PI, and you are done! And so on.. Yes, I also use emu48 (with my own RAM photo), but for ease of use and ease of programming, the hp41 is still tops. This is a good simulator, and it sure beats buying N-cells! (Have used on: Gal S7, Mot Droid Mini, Nexus 7 '13, Gal Tab E, Gal Tab A 8)
