GoodMaps acquires the Sendero GPS mobile apks from Aira, which are now free! GoodMaps Outdoors is a fully available turn-by-turn GPS apk for iPhone and Android device. It has all the outdoor navigation features you expect plus special offerings you cannot receive anywhere else, including additional verbosity for blind players. Features • Four main tabs are simple to access at the bottom of the screen: Routes, Place (Default), POIs and Settings. • A special GoodMaps Outdoors feature: Record a route using breadcrumbs, called Waypoints. No another available apk has this. You can add these waypoints with the add button or you can shake the smartphone to make a Waypoint. It also automatically records a point after you have gone a certain distance. These Waypoint routes can be saved for future use. • The Lookaround Wand in the top right tells you what is around. • The More Details button gives the altitude and speed. • Make your own POIs and share your POIs with others or hold them personal with a shortcut on the Place page or from the POIs page. • POI categories are announced with find results and create finding your destination easier. • Audio tones and vibrations give feedback throughout the apk, letting you know about upcoming turns, critical intersection info, and when find is loading. • A robust route menu contains multiple ways of selecting a destination, from starting with a POI, an address from your contact list, your route history, and a lot of more! • Settings contain a lot of customization options like: vibrations, vision contrast, color settings, and distance troops. • There are announcement options like right, left, clockface or both.
