  A Google user: After trying a dozens of another geotagging apks on my iPhone, I settled on this as the best solution. Same deal on my Samsung Droid Charge: Tried a few another droid geotaggers, and they were beautiful sorry. I'm delighted the developer ported this to the Android device platform: It's now the best Droid geotagger. Easy, elegant process: Just take a image of your phone's screen at the end of your trip and run the quick, easy tool on your computer to complete the tagging process.

  Paolo Bertozzi: It is for dslr without gps like my d800 but it do the job of the 215€ nikon gp1a that add an item on the camera's hot shoe and a cable that are not comfortable while I walk with camera in hand. This apk comes from a very brilliant idea and with a very well created assist section. Good job!

  Frederic Abrard: At first seemed to be randomly pausing trips on my Pixel 2 but the problem never came back when I gave it other go running side by side with my Fitbit recording exercise on my mobile. Set time interval to 1 minute, trip on for ~10h without pausing, smartphone battery was still about 30% (with Fitbit running as well). Exported 6 trips like this, worked like magic on all 350 images.

  A Google user: This apk works super. The first time I used it, things were not so awesome. I sent an email to the developer and the response was very fast and very helpful. I had not downloaded the recent ver of the desktop tool for my pc. Michael created sure that everything was working properly. I highly suggest purchasing this apk. It works just as promised and does a unbelievable job. It is the easiest method to add gps data automatically to your camera files. Definitely 5 stars...only because 6 stars are not accessible.

  A Google user: Worked good to log gps places that can be added to EXIF data. Worked best with short intervals when outside. Battery drain was minimal even at 30 second intervals. Used long intervals when inside. Started fresh trip each day. Had to resume trip after changing interval. Can export once more if QR code blurry. Did not overwrite gps data from camera. I turned off option to add date to file name.

  Bogdan Sass: Good for geotagging, and the method it uses QR codes to sync time between camera and smartphone is just brilliant! Loses 1 star because it does not log altitude - that requires the Pro ver. And while I would happily pay the additional price for the Pro, it is not yet accessible for Android device (although it was promised more than a year ago :( )

  Tom Gostlow: I really like this apk, it does exactly what it says it will. I've used it on iOS, and now on Android device. Some reviews here comment that time and place is often tagged incorrectly. I don't know how they were using the apk, but these are things to remember: The apk relies on your smart smartphone GPS and Time. When travelling I create sure that my smartphone has access to data or at the very least the smartphone network. This will assist the smartphone search its initial place and correct time. ALL GPS receivers will have problems with tall buildings, deep valleys, dense trees, tunnels etc. There is no point having the mobile network turned off to only use hotel WiFi, then go running off through the town or city taking images and logging your trip on GPS4CAM if the smartphone hasn't had a possibility to receive its correct place or satellites are hidden from view. Even images taken on your smartphone will be incorrect. My latest recommendation is to use the option within the GPS4CAM apk to shake the smartphone to record the place each time you take images on your DSLR, or at the very least at each fresh place. Do this and the apk works well :)

  Stan Rohrer: Good apk for recording image positions via GPS if you are a photographer that will stop and crate a image. Easy to use and has very useful automation and sync features. The down side is it would have failed miserably on my latest tour bus excursion shooting while moving through the town and later trying to identify the buildings and features from the GPS positions. 30 second granularity, with a few missed reads due to lack of GPS around tall dense buildings, should have place my GPS point miles away. This is not a recorder for photographers moving quick. I will return to the My Tracks apk.

  Jason C: Set for 5 min intervals, doesn't seem to record enough times nor wait for an accurate place before recording. If it crashes during a trip, you aren't notified until you test to export. All data points up to the crash are recorded. Help did not reply help email. Lg g3 Android device 6.

  Marc Bernard: What is the point of exporting to email? I'm trying to search a method without taking pictures of my smartphone. Could be able to begin the gpx file attachment in my email with the tool. I will search the $40 spent for GPS worth a lot more after this experience with a gratis apk.

  Andy Tijou: A good apk, if you have fun deleting the place data it adds to images, and having to add it once more manually. I had a trip to Spain, did a lot of walking around with my smartphone recording my trip in my pocket... so I thought. Place was switched on, on the smartphone so it knew where it was. On returning to the UK, and running the images through the tool, it decided to mark all of my images as being taken in the hotel room. Trip to Rotterdam, a whole days worth of pictures were apparently all taken at the Euromast (which we visited the previous day) Also, had a clock change whilst there as BST ended, the previous days places were all an hour out, if the clock changes during your trip, create sure you export and photograph the QR code before the clock goes back or forward. Thanks for wasting my time!

  May New Moon: When photographing qr code at the end, the image HAS to be crystal sharp, even more sharp than all my landscapes I took today. Desktop cant see any of my qr images due to "too blurry" ? Maybe I could use a tripod?!
