  A Google user: This replicates a Ti-89 really well. Good apk! For those that obviously don't have a Ti and rate badly, press diamond then Enter to give an approximate reply to see what you'd normally see on a standard calculator! It is like this on the newer nspire too! Read the manual!

Begin apk, locate and add the downloaded file which must be on your smartphone somewhere. Done, fully functioning ti89 for gratis!

I would go to my 5th grade teacher and ask "why can't I use a calculator?" and when the robotic response came "You won't always have a calculator with you!" I would punch her in the face. I mean seriously, I saw this coming 32 years ago when I was 10. I LOVE this apk because I loved my TI89! And it is ALWAYS with me...take that Ms. Chatterton!

  jammy banzooni: Attractive execution of a much required emulator! Loading the ROM was quick and worked without any complaints. Importing files and apks into the calculator is just as quick. I will, without a doubt, be purchasing the paid ver. I can finally have my calculator on my smartphone. Now, if I can somehow receive my professors to allow me use my smartphone during tests, I won't ever have to worry about lugging that brick around ever once more!

  Mark Bredlund: Simply Good. Possible to receive the "display" part to use the full width of the smartphone. As newer phones are getting 'taller' the top part of the calculator is getting smaller. Love the emulator. Usually I search it better than the true thing as I have it accessible at all times. Thanks!

  A Google user: Works good! It's amazingly identical to the true thing. I can now take the batteries out of my TI89 and retire it forever. I have not noticed any performance problems, but I don't use it much except for easy calculations these days. I was able to load ME Pro and that seems to work ok. I would like to see a tweak that increases the accessible ROM memory beyond the capacity of the original. With ME Pro loaded, it takes up nearly all my accessible ROM.

  A Google user: Late night studying by only the light of your computer screen? The true ti-89 fails here but this apk makes a nice backlit ver that works good in the dark! Carry a ti-89 at all times without the bulk. Gotta have the true deal for tests of course, but this is a good complement to it.

  A Google user: They do not create the TI-89 anymore, and I hate the TI-89 Titanium. I have bought a few 89's off eBay/Craigslist just to create sure I horde enough to cover me for the rest of my life. Now I have THIS. This thing is SLICK. As for the ROM, the instructions do not give much detail before you down load it. When you install and begin it, you go to settings and then navigate to the folder where your ROM is located (I just have it on the SD card). As for getting the ROM off your old calculator, I have no idea how to do that. You can download the recent ROM's straight from TI's site. Go to the downloads/updates section and look for the 89 or 89 Titanium.
