Grocy is a self-hosted groceries and household management solution for your home. Go to grocy.info for more info about the project. Grocy for Android device uses Grocy's official API to provide you a attractive interface on your smartphone with strong barcode scanning and intuitive batch processing, all what you need to efficiently manage your groceries. This apk requires a running self-hosted instance of the grocy server application. It is a companion apk, therefore it cannot run standalone or manage products itself! You can test and try all features using the demo option accessible on the login screen. Like the grocy project, Grocy Android device can be translated, too. Please go to our GitHub page for more information. Compatibility: Grocy Android device requires at least grocy 3.1.3 on your server. It is also possible to use the grocy Add-on on a Hass.io server. Our FAQ on GitHub explains how to do that. This apk supports https encryption if your server uses a certificate which is signed by a public and trusted certificate authority (CA). To meet this requirement, you can use a gratis certificate from letsencrypt.org for your server. Old Android device devices can have issues with newer CAs because their internal list of trusted CAs can be outdated if they don't keep system updates anymore. Grocy Android device also supports encryption if your server uses a self-signed certificate. In this case the certificate must be stored in the Android device player certificate store. We'd like to thank the developer of Grocy, Bernd Bestel, without whose good work this apk would never have been possible.

Wallis Family: Still learning differences between server and apk, but impressed how far along the apk is at this point. Can't wait for recipes addition to apk, maybe for recipes, but more so to be able to do fast consume of all ingredients for a recipe versus entering each individually PLUS to have item lists for recipes when shopping and impromptu decide wish to receive required stuff for a saved recipe. Being able to view journal/stock entries in apk would also be a nice addition. Can't wait to see future progress!

Maximilian Neumann: Works good with the home assistant add-on of grocy. I like the shopping mode, the stuff are simple to cross of and sync quick when shopping together. I would love to see some features added: - recipes - automatically add stuff from the shopping mode as purchased stuff - quick scan mode for purchasing (like for consuming) Thanks for developing a awesome grocy apk.

Tamás Szakály: I have tried a lot of shopping list / pantry management apks in the past few months, and Grocy combined with this application turned out to be the most convenient solution. The shopping mode is good, and the barcode scanner - which, for some reason, I thought I would never use - also works really well. And to top it all, this is all begin source. I love it. Phyioa: Danke für die schnelle Reaktion auf mein Kompatibilitätsproblem. Modernize innerhalb von einem Mark nach Meldung erhalten. Jetzt läuft soweit alles. Eine Bitte: kommuniziert klarer eure Kompatibilität. Ich finde nicht, dass man bei der Angabe "mind. Server 3.1.3" damit rechnen muss, dass bei einem Modernize auf Server 3.2.y die Apk nicht mehr funktioniert, wenn sie bei 3.2.x noch funktioniert hat. Außerdem passen die kompatiblen Server Versionen, die die Apk selbst angibt nicht zur Doku im Playstore.

C.S. White: Very nice interface! A handy method to scan stuff into the server instance. It updates almost instantly. The only feature I should think of to request would be an offline shopping mode. I made a shopping list on the server and it populated to my Android device, but when I leave my local network, the apk indicates "Offline". It would be very handy to be able to work from the list and enter stuff as "Done" or, better yet, "Purchased" so the price should be entered at the shop. Then, when back on my network and connected to the server, the current price would be included in the upload.

Teddy Møller: Cant connect to own server. Even with QR code you cant connect to your own server. I expected the server know its own address. Also what is "Long-lived access token" at least give the player the ootion to use username/password. Or give the player assist to create/find the needed info. NOT player friendly setup experience. **edit** Google find could not be needed. And i have server knowledge. it is the userfriendlyness the apk lacks. And no link to faq for the token lokation.
