Bill Blackford: Awesome tool I have the paid ver installed on S4mini. It works perfectly and as described. I wanted a easy apk that did not wish permission to access everything on my smartphone. It tells me how far I've walked and gives a nice vertical profile of the walk. Want it had a built in timer. That would let the tool to produce average speed and stopped times. The tool has "Exit GPS" button. The player then knows that the tool is not running in the background consuming battery and another resources. I suggest the apk without reservation.

Robert Lillis: Best GPS map I've used on my smartphone Love this for tracking where I have been only thing I would love to see (unless I have missed it) is a method to pause the tracking distance so when I'm out walking and go back home I can pause it then turn it back on when you go back out.

Dave Farquar: Very intelligent apk. I'm still learning. From onset looks good. Might save spending $400 on a hand held gps. I'm tech challenged so wrote creator. He wrote...open the Google Maps page in the apk, zoom to the extents of the walking place you're interested in and then click the menu button at the top right and select "Manage offline maps". Enter a name for the place in the empty field and then press "Download map tiles". By default this uses the Begin Road Maps Cycle map tile server. There are more maps options I can't list

A Google User: The best for outdoor activities I've been using this apk for almost 2 years now, and it's excellent. No need to look at any another apks for backcountry activities. Altimeter and place coordinates are always accurate, and it doesn't need cell signal to function. Paid ver is easily worth it.

Renee: Perfect and packed full of features Something that would greatly improve this apk in my eyes would be to have continuity when the apk is running in the background. For example, when recording a track, if I switch apks and then switch back, the apk stops recording in the meanwhile, meaning it always has to be running on top. I'd like to see this improved :)

Aubrey Offer: This is awesome... The reason for the low rating should be the player... but i got this for hiking... not in city, but in the Drakensberg... the trouble is that their isn't any data signal which is required to download Google maps. As such the product cannot be used. It would be awesome to be able to download an place so that the maps can appear. This would require place, but we are talking maybe a 30 square km place which is not much ... something to consider. Maybe a GPS coordinate centre and a radius around that ? Just a thought.

Susan Pal: This is an perfect apk! Dev, is there a method we can make and/or edit a route with existing waypoints? I saved a few waypoints the another day but should not search a method to manually link them in a specific sequence. If this is not currently feasible, do you plan to add that feature in the near future?
