A Google user: Best value for cash survey calculator I've ever used. Just as awesome and even user-friendlier for traverse and set out calculations as some of the industry standard desktop tool I've used. I highly suggest it to surveying students and anyone working in degrees-minutes-seconds and metres. During the Dip Surveying at RMIT in 2015 we did all fieldwork on paper - this apk stopped me going crazy while not being able to use the total station to record shots and compute miscloses. Between this apk and a spreadsheet for booking levels, you can do beautiful much everything for cadastral surveying on your smartphone.

Nathanael Coyne: Have spent the past two hours researching for an apk that should calculate the intersection of two lines projected from two coordinates and two azimuth measurements. I just want it was a bit easier to work with data points and see the relationship between UTM coords and bearing/distance projections rather than having to switch to the View to verify data entry, and what UTM place am I working in? Ray M: This is a good apk. Has a lot of of the computational features that Surveyors use frequently. If I'm searching for monuments from a known point, i can make a traverse and calc coordinates for points that i can stake out with my total station or GPS. Triangle solver is good as long as you know at least 3 parts to it. I only want it had a vertical curve solver since i check centerline profiles on civil design plans. But another than that, this apk has a slew of another handy features. Good job to the developer

Albert Thurber: Nice apk. Is there a method to have more than one project stored. I see there is import info but not sure where files need to be stored for apk to locate and if it will give me choices. Still learning apk and what I have seen as a surveyor for 18 years it should be useful in a generic method when tenths for setting stations is not needed or giving me a general place to locate traverse points not used for years. I would also like to use various coordinate systems.

Chris L: Love using this apk in the field for traverse and plan calcs. I'm glad someone finally has written a decent tool that works on my smartphone so I don't need a calculator in the field anymore. A few want list stuff; copy and paste or swap fields (I.e. in the add/subtract utility) and a program integrated with the GPS to stake out map coordinates (to search survey control marks).

Mr Murray: I thought I'd done my homework checking for the best apk. This one was rated at over 4.5/5.0. But I see no practical advantage for a survey technician, letalone a professional surveying engineer to use this apk. I couldn't figure out how to apply it in the field. Maybe, just maybe, using the GPS features should be useful for very preliminary really big website investigations.
