About the application:

Chess is a board logic mini game with unique pieces for two enemies, combining elements of art, science and sport. The mini game consists of users taking turns making moves. White makes the first move. Except for the capturing on the pass and castling described below, the move consists of the user moving one of his pieces to other square according to the following rules: Pieces: The Lord moves to the adjacent square vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. The Queen moves any distance vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. The Rook moves any distance vertically or horizontally. The Bishop moves any distance on the diagonal. The knight moves two squares vertically and then one square horizontally or vice versa, two squares horizontally and one square vertically, thus the knight moves like a capital letter "L" in the Latin alphabet. A pawn can only move forwards: without a capture it moves one square vertically forwards, and with a capture it moves diagonally one square forwards-right or forwards-left. When a pawn moves to the latest horizontal, it is replaced by any another piece of the same colour, except the lord, at the player's choice. The aim of the mini game is to checkmate the opponent's king. Check is a situation where the lord is under checkmate. Checkmate - a situation where the lord is under check and the user has no occasion to eliminate this check. Pat or draw - a situation when a user in his turn is unable to create a single move, but the player's lord is not under check. Game features: - 3D graphics; - Chance to play for time and without; - Chance to play both with a mate and with an AI; - Animation of movement of pieces; - Adjustment of mini game quality, piece speed and volume levels; - Sound effects and melody; - Board Editor.
