About the application:

Use the HCD2022 apk to enhance your happening experience – prepare your agenda, connect with colleagues and mates, old and fresh, discover the exhibition and Video + Poster gallery, and catch up on recorded talks and sessions. The apk will assist you explore, connect and engage with attendees at the Congress. In-person delegates could access their QR code on the apk to check-in to the in-person happening. First, log in to the apk, then click on your photo in the top right of the screen, where your QR code will appear – click on it and check-in at the registration desk. You can also edit your profile and view your virtual briefcase and bookmarked content here. Through the apk you will be able to watch LIVE sessions and catch up with talks and sessions you may have missed under the ‘Agenda’ tab. Explore the Video+Poster gallery, also under the ‘Expo’ tab. Visit the Video+Poster gallery to learn more about innovative research and urban design projects, watch short video presentations, download the posters, and read the abstracts. Under the ‘Expo’ tab, you can visit sponsors’, happening partners’ and exhibitors’ stands to learn more about their policy and research work, and their recent design innovations. You will also be able to view their videos, download brochures and, if you’re interested, share your contact info or set up in-person and virtual chats and meetings. Engage with another attendees under the ‘People’ tab. Filter attendees by specific job roles, sectors, interests and more. From here, you can set up a meeting with another delegates – click on their profile, select a date and time, and add a personalised notice. You can also chat with another attendees byclicking ‘CHAT’ on their profile. If you’re joining the Congress virtually, you still have the possibility to connect and network with another delegates in the ‘Lounge’. Here, you can pull up a chair at a table to join a video call with another delegates. Create your own personalised schedule based on your interests and meetings, and view this in your own personalised agenda at the top of the app. Get last-minute updates on the schedule from the organisers. Join in with fellow attendees in a discussion forum and share your thoughts on the Congress streams and subjects beyond the Congress itself. Share your participation in the Congress on social media by using the hashtag #HCD2022 and tagging us @HCD_2022
