"I'm here for you," she said. "We'll receive through this together." The girl smiled through her tears. "Thank you," she said. The woman and the girl talked for a while longer, and the girl started to feel a tiny better. She knew that she would never forget her dog, but she also knew that she would receive through this. The next day, the woman came back to the park with a show for the girl. It was a little, stuffed dog. "I thought you might like this," the woman said. "It's not a replacement for your old dog, but I hope it will assist you remember him." The girl took the stuffed dog and hugged it tightly. "Thank you," she said. "I love it." The woman smiled. "You're welcome," she said. "I'm glad you like it." The girl and the woman became mates, and they would often meet in the park to talk and play. The girl never forgot her old dog, but she knew that she would always have the stuffed dog to remember him by. The woman's kindness and compassion helped the girl through a difficult time, and she will never forget her. This story is a reminder that even a little act of kindness can create a large difference in someone's life.
