  Ramona Gossard: The modernize makes this apk 1000% better! No more hoping and praying that there would not be an error in opening the e-edition. It is easier to go to various sections of the paper. The only thing I can't figure out is how to search the comics and horoscope. That's why I took off one star.

  Tiffany Green: I subscribed for the 6 months 99¢ promo for the digital access. However when I clock on certain stories it takes me to the internet and tells me I am out of gratis stories and can subscribe for $1 for 6 months. Also when I test to look up my subscription through herald mail since I told them I'm already a subscriber; it tells me my subscription can not be found. Please assist. I've never had this trouble before the apk updated.

  A Google user: The font size is too little. To view the weather page requires tapping on a little menu pull down at the top of the screen. And, now when an article is viewed you have to hold "backing out" of everything you just viewed to receive back to the home screen. Bring back the really big shortcut buttons that take you directly to the various sections.

  bkipbnic: I deleted the apk. I am a long time HM subscriber. In fact my yearly subscription was auto- paid this week. I hold logging into this apk, it says "Welcome Beverly" - then it blocks every article and asks me to subscribe or sign in once more. This has been an problem for a few months and a few folks reported it. I did not pay to only read 10 "gratis" articles a month. Don't waste your time downloading. Most frustrating apk ever. I want Herald-Mail should make their own apk that actually works.

  Larry Bayer: I have to repeatedly sign in to read even one story. After I sign in I receive welcome back notice. Then when I tap on a story, I have to sign in once more. Unbelievably frustrating.

  Brad Myers: Used to be able to read the news just ok on the old apk. Now I have to have a subscription but I don't need one because I receive them from the shop my mother owns. I'd rather read it off my smartphone though. Cash hungry basterds. Only news apk I have ever seen do this. Deleting and will be using 4 state.

  Thomas Firey: The fresh apk is awful. It asks me to sign in every time I click an article link, and then, at least half the time, it asks me to re-sign in after saying I had signed in successfully. Finally, it dumps me into the web ver, which does work correctly, but if I wanted that, I would have used my browser instead of the apk. The effect is that I'm reading less and less of the HM. I've been a paying subscriber since the beginning of online subscriptions, but this year I probably won't renew.

  john garville: In order for this apk to work right you must subscribe to the Herald Mail to read the full article. The old apk you where able read the articles for gratis. Uninstalled.

  Charlie Draper: I subscribe to the print newspaper so I thought I'd give their apk a test... The first article I tried to read requires an extra subscription to see the digital content. At least they created it a fast and simple decision to immediately uninstall. Don't install this apk unless you plan to pay to see any of their mediocre news product.
