About the application:

Hide and Seek is a mini game for kids learning English. The mini game provides a lot of verbal language input to which users answer with a click of a mouse. Kids who are exposed to the rich linguistic content of the mini game ‘acquire’ the language in a stress-free and effortless method. The mini game is quite special because: - the target vocabulary is presented in whole sentences –kids need to understand and follow very clear, but quite complex spoken instructions; - the rich language, full of collocations and idioms, is illustrated with clear and cheerful graphics - the meanings of fresh words can be easily inferred from the context; - the mini game develops users' ambiguity tolerance - kids don't need to understand every word at all to answer properly and score a point.
