  A Google user: Good. This is the original magazine for learning Japanese for native English speakers. It's been around for a lot of years and this Apk is merely it's jump into the digital globe. If you wish to read Japanese, do yourself a favor and limit yourself to this Apk for a while. It may seem expensive because you are buying individual magazines, yet realize that each magazine has English, Japanese, and Furigana. Additionally, you can use Manga University ebooks with Nook and Scribe Origins Apk.

  James Cotellesse: First! This is really an good program for dedicated learners. True Japanese, true situations, true news, well done! But two large dings create it less than a 5 star currently. 1 - I can't use the Apple subscription on my Android device! Unhappy. Please fix it, I have a year sub. 2 - I can't turn off furigana to assist myself learn to read better. Would be nice if I should turn it off in levels, like all N3 and below Kanji don't present readings, for example. Would L O V E that!!

  Robert Shiplett: please provide a roumaji-free edition as an option. The roumaji undermine my reading efforts. AND. Please : i need ALL of my offline LANGUAGE LEARNING data on my ext SD card folks. This is lollipop, so please edit that XML for the app and give me a popup dialog to create my choice. Marshmallow? Nougat?

  Chan-joo Moon: The magazine is good but the electronic ver not so much. I signed up on a web browser and it did not work. Tech help got it to work on a smartphone apk - beautiful awesome except the little screen makes it hard to read a magazine. Got the feeling the technical side is still an amateur operation.

  shonorities: Poorly designed. I doesnt work on my mobile (android device) and have constant problems to the extend I dont feel like using it ever. If I am not wrong it cannot be used for offline reading. Have contacted hiragana times but as typical they offered some irrelevant reply. They could offer the option to download all material localy for offline access anytime like they used in the past. This is typical Japanese obsession to protect their data to the extend that it hurts the sales. Such a shame... Wont be subscribing once more

  Michelle Heinrich: This apk gives me an error notice that Hiragana Times stopped working. It seems so because I don't grant it permission to access my place and contacts. I see no reason why these permissions need to be given. Storage permission is ok. But contacts?
