About the application:

History Quest is a quiz tool made to assist introduce students to the traditional history stories of Western Civilization. Our resources contain a few thousand multiple choice questions covering four necessary periods of history and hundreds of pages of study aids. The mini game is integrated with the Heritage History online library so users have access to over 500 classical student histories. The quiz tool can be used in two methods. In 'History Quest' mode, users reply questions from an entire tool category (such as Roman History) and earn points depending on both speed and difficulty. In 'Knowledge Medal' mode, users focus only on one era at a time (such as the Punic Fights), and have access to study materials and reading suggestions. In this method students can learn history as they play. Players who would like to compete versus another History Quest users, can enroll on the Heritage History Leaderboard and post their scores. Students can also use the 'Share Results' feature to email an encrypted record of their progress to an instructor or another group members.
