About the application:

Hit the Button Math is an apk designed to assist develop mental math and calculation skills. The apk is aimed at 5-11 year olds. There are 166 various mini game modes of varying difficulty so it is useful throughout grades K-5. Reply as a lot of questions as possible in minute-long mini games, or you can now practice without the pressure of a countdown timer - a feature which is fresh for 2019. Questions are randomly generated which means it is very replayable. The mini game has been carefully designed for kids, with really big, widely spaced buttons. We suggest that young kids play on a tablet. Six main subjects are covered: * Times tables - up to 10 or 12 * Division - up to 10 or 12 * Square numbers * Number bonds * Doubling * Halving Between these subjects, the four standard arithmetic operations are covered: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. You can make up to 30 user profiles per device to track an individual's high scores (increased from 15 in 2019). If you prefer there's also the option to play as a guest. All data is stored locally on your device so you don't have to worry about privacy problems. We've also created it very simple for kids to quickly switch between profiles after playing a mini game, if they're sharing a device. After each mini game, the score achieved is displayed along with the child's high score. Bronze, silver or gold stars and trophies are awarded depending on the score achieved in each mini game.

  • Andrea Re: Definitely cash WELL spent. Both my children, 5.5 and 8, have fun it and are progressing rapidly. One request for me is to up the threshold for 3 stars. As it is, it is quite simple to receive to it. Also, I wouldn't mind more jumbled up mini games like times tables and divisions and possibly some number bonds thrown in the mix. In any case, by far the BEST times tables apk I have come across (and I have tried a few...)

  • A Google user: Bought this for my 6 year old as they use it at school and for what it is, the apk is well done. Easy to use, awesome visible colours and easily legible. BUT... it desperately needs a practice mode where the 1 min time limit can be switched off, especially when kids are trying the harder activities for the first few times. PLEASE contain this in the next modernize to change this from a awesome apk to a good one. Thanks!
