  Mark Harris: Problems I was having have been resolved with recent modernize. Now application works good! Previous post: ****For older ver of apk**** Everything but device setup works good. Is a good timesaver for pulling down hobo logs via Bluetooth. However the Android device apk is almost useless for configuring the Hobo. The connection is lost almost every time.   Daniel Schaible: The logger I purchased was listed as compatible with Android device but it actually wasn't. Onset took care of replacing the Bluetooth logger with a USB logger at no additional cost to me. Customer service was good and the fresh product UX100 has worked good.

  Tony Ertola: Exporting (sharing) the data as either .xls or .csv files screws up the recorded sample times. Sometimes by hours. Tech help unable to resolve problem. The only solution is to export as .hobo, begin on my desktop in HoboWare Pro and export from there as .csv.

  Paul L: Currently on Android device 7.0 Samsung note 5. Apk cannot modernize firmware for mx2301 at all; disconnects everytime with all mx2301 troops. Signal is very unstable according to the apk but stable on iPhone. Apk crashes frequently. Battery life for hobo troops jumps all over when viewing with this apk.

  A Google user: Unable to connect to dataloggers for configuration etc. Just bought 2 pieces of MX2202. They seem to work and the apk can receive the initial connection/find them, but every time I test to connect to them to configure etc the apk crashes. Same with both stuff. Same for 2 various types of Android device phones, so obviously a large trouble with the apk, rendering the dataloggers useless at the moment and delaying recording of important measurements. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S9 phones.

  Chris Thorn: I just bought the mx1102 and downloaded the mobile apk and it will not connect. After looking through the setup it says it only supports the mx1101. I was excited about the possibilities but I guess I'll have to wait. Will an apk or make batter for the mx1102 be coming?

  Ted Jeo: downloaded to chromebook, but MX2301A doesn't connect. Useless. They updated to the "A" model and now you need the newest devices (except a chromebook) to connect to the hobo logger. POS As it turns out, even though they say that the fresh model only has an make batter on the sensor, it also has what appears an make batter on the Bluetooth ver. It appears that the fresh A models use BT 4 and the older models used like BT 2.x or something. We are using an iPad2 (which has BT 2.x on it) and it can talk to the older HOBO's but cannot talk to the fresh A models. So it is more than just a sensor make batter.

  A Google user: Application does not connect to MX series loggers on Android device 6.0.1. Have to resort to installing the application on one of my old phones to readout and then emailing the results. Fix the trouble if you expect your loggers to sell moving on.

  A Google user: Although nice for bluetooth, it's good that the apk won't also recognize loggers plugged in via USB on tablets and smartphones when everything else does. This is just a blatant gimping of technology. Heck, you can't even pull the data off manually in windows without some 3rd party tool... I can't in awesome conscious suggest this product to our company moving forward.
