  Malcom Crawley: Not a necessity, but useful to create sure the door is closed on those occasions that you do not quite close it all the method. which after a week of owning my Bosch fridge has happen on a few occasions. It is also handy to turn on and off the ice maker when it notifies me that it is.full. Simple to set up and connect to my router via WPS way. Not sure what all the fuss is about, just follow the direction.

  Alonzo Burry: This apk has worked quite well until now. I received an email notification latest week regarding maintenance to be performed on Oct 11. My Home Connect is now unable to connect and is giving me this notice error":"503","error_description":"Home Connect subsystem not accessible. Please test it once more."} I have Uninstalled and re-installed the apk to no avail. Please fix... Thanks UPDATE: Had a prompt email response and the trouble was the Home Connect website. Trouble resolved itself.

  Michael C: Thought it was silly to have my induction cooktop and hood connected to my wireless connection but the cooktop displayed an error while in use one day, alerted me on my smartphone and downloaded the patch automatically. The tool has been useful for turning on and off the blower fanatic when away from the kitchen and someone cooks something fragrant.

  Terry Cameron: Have had no problems with our Bosch fridge and this apk since latest year. Allows for setting of temps of the fridge and compartments, but doesn't present actual current temp, which is the one thing it's missing. Begin door notifications are handy and work, usually only happen when loading the fridge with groceries. Fast links to buy filters is nice and the shipping list should be handy, we just don't use it right now. Direct Google Home integration is missing, IFTTT is there, but I don't use it.

  Solun: Works very well except when I had to re-connect the dishwasher all over once more but that was my internet fault because the company did some improvements on it so I had to re-connect most of my devices from scratch.

  PMG: Loses all connectivity with the dishwasher every 2 weeks or so, requiring complete restart of the machine and re-pairing with the apk. When doing so, the apk refers to "Step 3" of a manual gateway of just telling/showing you what it wants - Major fail! The only street to success seems to be to ignore the apk and simply scan the QR code printed on the dishwasher door to reset the entire process from begin to finish. This would actually be almost bearable if the trouble didn't recur so regularly.

  Clem Turner: It took me an hour to set this up, so I deducted a star, however the Set-Up Tutorial provided with the appliance is essential. The instructions are a bit confusing - there are more steps after the device says its "connected", but if you follow the paper and in-app instructions, you'll receive there. Have the Thermador Refrigerator and Freezer. Gr8 that I can adjust their settings without opening the door, and alerts me when the children leave the door begin. Cool recipes and lifestyle hacks in the apk.

  A Google user: The apk for my Bosch dishwasher seems like a waste of time. You have to go to the dishwasher and push "remote begin" every time you wish to use it. Makes no sense. I will just turn on the dishwasher while I am there. The oven remote begin shows it is on but when I test to begin the oven from the apk nothing happens! It doesn't begin. I have called technical help but they don't seem to understand how the function works either so I plan to delete from my smartphone.
