  David Pettitt: You like tactic mini games? Play Hoplite! This is about a pure a tactic mini game as it is possible to receive. Every single move matters, and the only random possibility is in the initial setup of each level. I want there was more (more opponents, more abilities, more environment) but at the same time I admire the purity of the design. Couldn't stop playing until I'd retrieved the fleece.

Hoplite is a challenging turn-based dungeon crawler that uses a specific set of guidelines and opponent types. A smooth difficulty curve, a host of power-up-granting achievements and procedurally generated levels create for seemingly endless play. The bonus price is well worth it, and the gratis download has replay value also. HIGHLY suggested.
