  Ryan Lee: Never had any problem with the apk on my U11 - it always responded correctly, worked with the smart home gear I have set up, and never caused any problems. Can't seem to search it on my U12 though?

  Nick: So far works beautiful well on my HTC U11, accesses my Google calendars and in particular knows about all day happenings from calendars shared with me, that's an advantage over the Google Assistant. However the Google Assistant is far better at differentiating between various voices. My smartphone only responds when I talk to it rather than it being activated by somebody else. Best of both worlds now with Google and Alexa.

  PATRICK MCLOUGHLIN: It's awesome but not full blown Alexa just yet. Regarding initial issues which I had: (i) if the "Alexa" wake word doesn't work test restarting the smartphone (ii) if time and measurements need changing go to settings in the main Amazon Alexa Apk (not HTC Alexa). In those settings select the Device "HTC Alexa" and alter the settings for time place and measurement troops.
