  James Zylstra: The apk is a awesome concept rollout and has potential to be good. Streaming service integration (Spotify, Google Play Melody, etc) is not presently implemented, and there are bugs when connected to Bluetooth for audio output, but I expect these problems to be addressed in due time.

Unfortunately after latest modernize lost 99% of the melody playlists and songs added through Soundcloud however it kept a few. Otherwise absolutely love it. Good job developer.   Raymond Co: The best hue apk for melody. This works 10x better than hue disco (a paid apk). Hue disco has such a longer delay to beats than huegasm it's crazy. Bought huedisco first and refunded it after a few mins because the lag was so awful!!! If you wish, test both apks but I will be surprised if you don't refund hue disco.

  Hoa Nguyen: I like it. Best hue apk to actually sync on beat with the lights. Is there any method we can make a time script so we can personalize our songs ourselves? Or at least control which lights toggle lights with which frequency? Such as light strips lighting up only to low frequency sounds and light bulbs to higher sounds?

  Steven Gasque: It worked one time and now it constantly says can't search bridge. I enter the IP manually and it'll work for a bit then says can't search bridge. Constantly having to manually enter IP address of bridge. Also, can't load local songs into playlist. I'm using an LG-V10.

  Roy Gangle: Want I didn't have to revert to melody saved on my smartphone but I do. I won't use up smartphone place on things I can stream. It either lags or crashes. Won't run in background with my another apk that does the same thing but with various bulbs. The chrome apk works just as awesome. I'll use that more then this.

  Kevin P. Sheridan: I like the apk however it doesn't work well when connecting to Bluetooth speaker from my cell smartphone. The melody is very choppy. Never had an problem with the speaker and smartphone prior to running the apk. Going to clear memory and cache and test once more. Will modernize review if that corrects the problem. Fingers crossed

  A Google user: Needs a method to add multiple songs at once. As it is you take too long adding mp3s one by one. Also, "active chrome tab, microphone or entire system", seems to not really be real. Mp3s or soundcloud only

  Dan Dascalescu: Beautiful awesome best detection but playback via Bluetooth skips every 2 seconds, making it impossible to listen to anything over Bluetooth. Too much CPU usage? The visualization was off. Playback with another apks over BT works ok. Also, the double scroll in the UI is awkward. Can you move the playlist to a tab and the three setting sliders to other one, so the use can swipe between them? Thanks!

  Daniel Baker: The light reactions to the audio aren't awful, but this apk (and site through chrome) have true issues when connecting to a Google Home via Bluetooth. If the Bluetooth is connected before opening the apk then the melody doesn't play. If the Bluetooth is connected after opening the apk then the melody will play, but it will be choppy and skip a little but very noticeable amount while playing (type of like interference, but it's definitely apk similar. I've tried a lot of another apks with no problems at all)

  Lawrence Bishop: Fine, desperately needs a cast function so you can stream to a television or sound system - no fun in watching all the lights in the house dance if the audio only comes from your smartphone. That said, light response times are the best, shame about the apk always hanging.

  Mr BlueSwede: I wish to play melody on my smartphone and have it sync to the hue light bulbs. If I test to play melody on my S9+ it defaults to the calling voice setting, you know when someone calls you and they sound muffled and you can adjust caller volume? That's what I have for the melody it sounds like waiting melody for smartphone lines. So I went to use microphone setting and play melody normally, But of course the sensitivity at 99% barely registers and sensitivity at 100% spasms like angry. So I can't victory here unfortunately. I hope whatever it is, is fixed. Thanks.

  Joe Carlotta: Not enough customization for the melody visualizer. The sensitivity slider just seems to change a preset interval in which it changes the lights, never matches the melody. Want it should use audio from sources another than soundcloud directly in the apk.

The feature is good, it's just inconvenient and makes me lean towards the worse quality microphone based apks.
