About the application:

humit is a social networking apk for melody sharing and discovery. The apk lets you share 30s audio snippets of strong moments from your favorite songs AKA “hums”. These hums can then be conveniently sampled by your followers in an endless feed of new fresh music. Let’s face it, melody sharing on mobile is broken — sharing a URL through Fb/ Messenger/ Ig Stories/ WhatsApp means jumping between apks, and there's often no feedback on whether someone liked the song or not. On the another hand, algorithmic suggestions go no further than saying “here’s other song that sounds extremely related to the one you just listened to”. humit is here to fix all of that... Some of the recent features contain 🤘 1. Reel mode 🎉: with options to like, bookmark, extend hum, toggle auto-play, answer and recommend 2. Media 👾: apart from album art/ images, you can now add GIFs to all your hums 3. Real-time messaging 💬: now you can answer to hums and chat about anything melody with your mates on humit 4. Suggest hums 💪: share your favorite hums with your followers 1:1 5. Stations 📻: moderated communities around genres, moods and themes. From #Party_Music, #TheBeatlesFC to #Space_Rap, you can search crowdsourced suggestions on virtually any type of melody. The sky’s not the limit here 6. Profile 🙋🏻‍♂️: flaunt your taste in melody based on your Spotify listening history, top artists and hums 7. Referral 👫: you can now begin inviting your mates over to check out humit with an invite code special to you With so a lot of melody libraries and messaging options accessible, sharing melody is far more complicated than it could be. While melody libraries are good to listen to, they lack compelling social features. Social networks are awesome for sharing, but provide a mediocre listening experience. Humit provides a music-specific platform to seamlessly explore and listen to melody from mates in one put, agnostic of your steaming platform of choice. P.S. The release is currently limited to Spotify players. Apple Melody and SoundCloud integrations are in the works.
