Serpodile offers a fresh way for learning cursive writing by decomposing the 26 letters of the alphabet in 13 primary shapes (circle, candy cane...) using visual and audio directions. Each screen contains : * A colourful frame to assist kids orient themselves in place (ground, sky, beginning/green, ending/red ) * A letter or a primary shape * Verbal instructions to draw the letter or primary shape * A green arrow showing where to begin and a red dot showing where to stop * A carefully crafted minimalistic interface helps kids stay focused. The drawing direction is checked by the apk. While the drawing is not done correctly, the kid is corrected until he succeeds. This way has been build and inspected by occupational therapists (OT). This way is particularly adapted for kids having disabilities like dyspraxia and autism, but is of course of good assist for kids just trying to learn to write cursive letters.
