This means having accurate info on passengers’ health status. The IATA Travel Pass is a digital platform for passengers which allows airlines and governments to do this. It allows passengers to search accurate info on travel and testing requirements for their adventure. Authorised labs and try centres can then send the results to each passenger in a verifiable, secure and personal way. IATA Travel Pass is based on 'Self-sovereign identity', giving the passenger complete control over their data. It gives each passenger a digital wallet to shop all of their travel documentation - including biometric passports - and select who to share it with.
